  AGODA let people down with no notice of hotel closure!

  AGODA have let my teenage son and his mate down. Dec the 31st check in for a booking that was made and paid for 3 months ago. Only hours before our 18 yrs old son went to book in he read and email from AGODA saying that his booking will be refunded because the apartments have closed permanently. Refund will not be available to our son asap, how did you think he went getting accommodation in the heart of Sydney on New Years Eve. Sitting in the gutter overwhelmed with no where to go. All available accommodation was over $900 p/n. He had only saved so much for his trip. So neglectful of AGODA for not contacting him and any other effected customers asap when property closed. Will never be booking through agoda again. Go directly through the property.

  They don't respond on email, their phone is disconnected, there is no reception, it's effectively an office block. They take your money, but when you need to cancel because of lock downs, they can't be heard.DO NOT Trust Castle Serviced Apartments. Agoda will take your money and provide zero service.The photos online are not the real property.Be warned or be dissappointed.

  Couldnt access our booking

  Arrived.No Reception area.Rang phone number.No answer.Phoned again and left message.No reply.Messaged Agoda Booking.They couldnt get anyone.Sat for 2 and half hours in foyer with no answers.Eventually told by Agoda to find our own alternative accomodation and wont get our refund for over 30 days.What if we didnt have enough money for another booking which was on their site anyway????We are disability pensioners and had to walk with luggage to another hotel.Shouldnt Agoda have transferred our credit to the next booking??Please never book in to Castle Apartments.We never got a call back from their "Reception".

  Worst hotel ! We have been travelling for month and this was the low point! Went somewhere else after!

  Stayed there for 5 nights . AC did not work. Had to ask for clean towels and the bed linen wasn’t changed ever. No face cloth. Staff not helpful. Thank goodness we left. At least we ended our holiday in a positive note and will forget about this ugly place.

  Clean comfortable room, nothing fancy, basic furniture. Wall paint could do with a refresh and maybe some art on the walls.I had a 1 bedroom suite, so I had a kitchen, laundry, bathtub. Complimentary chocolates.Hot water was dangerously hot (i.e. hot enough to make coffee coming out of the shower and bath taps!). I nearly scalded myself several times, even with being super careful to turn on the hot water tap just the minimum and turn on lots of cold water. They need to address this with facilities ASAP as it's an accident waiting to happen. I did report this to reception but they either didn't understand what i was trying to tell them or didn't believe me.. Only 2 plates, only 1 wine glass and 1 water glass which was fine for me but would impact a couple.
