Not what we had booked and they charged us extra.

    rating01 Jun 2024

We were very disappointed, the room was dirty with mould on the ceiling of the bathroom. We were supposed to get a queen bed, but the room only contained a double bed. There is no separate reception, it was very noisy and bar staff were busy and did not seem to know what they were doing when they checked us in. There was a charge on the paperwork, we were told it was to make sure that the credit card was functional and would not be charged. You guessed it we got charged, we contacted the Hotel several times and got a different explanation every time what the cost was for. not very satisfying.

    Unbelievable

    rating22 Dec 2023

This is the first time I have provided a review. That should tell you something. We flew in and had dinner with the kids and stayed over night at the cross roads. Some of the staff ignore you though others are excellent. The restaurant was very good, but the room was an abysmal failure. We stayed in room 1. There was no milk for a coffee the next morning. No hand towels or tissues. The sliding shower screen was broken, and the door fell off. But the most extraordinary thing was the vanity unit hanging in the bathroom. I am not exaggerating when I say, it looked like someone had been fossicking at the tip, and found this dirty old cabinet, and for reasons known only to themselves, thought it would look good in their motel room. It was genuinely unbelievable. Photos attached. Never again.

    Don't ever!

    rating23 Aug 2023

If you book a room, you are already contemplating life. My wife booked the accomodation for me, and I soon found out it was payback for everything I've ever done to upset her over the course of our 13 year relationship. I checked in and tried to push through the night, just in spite of her. The website said family friendly, renovated rooms. Despite this, the domestic violence dispute at around 11pm which attracted 6 police officers and the ambos to the room next to me I decided that bottom of the barrel budget style camping wasn't for me and attempted to check out, however there was nobody with the necessary skills needed to do this at 11pm. So I went in search for somewhere clean and comfortable instead. You would think after a global pandemic, a clean and sanitary room would be a given. Not there it isn't. I returned the following day to see if they would refund the other 4 nights. Speaking with the manager, she said I'd be charged for 2 nights because that's the policy, but she couldn't refund the rest because it's all been sent to the accounts manager and it's in her hands now. They were smirking like they had won the battle, and good for them. If you are still considering staying there.Call lifeline: 13 11 14. Someone loves you. UPDATE: This happened on Sunday, it's now Thursday night and I still haven't had a cent refunded.

    Good food options

    rating01 Jan 2023

I went for a casual lunch with a friend. They have the usual pub classics on the menu. Heaps of options even for vegetarians and gluten free meals. I ordered the grilled chicken breast with mushroom and bacon sauce and there was some garlic bread. My friend got a chicken schnitzel with chips and salad. Everything was yummy and to the point. Make sure you book a table with them as it gets busy for lunch or dinner. On weekdays they have lunch specials. As we were walking to our table we also saw the chicken schnitzel burger and seafood basket and fish and chips. We had a good pub feed and I would highly recommend this pub. They have a cocktail menu and usual bar drinks.

Not satisfactory left with the taste of blood in my mouth

    rating17 Mar 2022

Firstly I ordered a vegetarian nacho meal and when it was presented to me it was beef nacho. I was asked if I would eat it. I ordered a vegetarian meal for a reason !! I don’t eat meat. I was have way through the meal and felt a sharpe jab in the side of my mouth and it started to bleed. There was a 4cm piece of sharpe plastic hide in the meal. I took it back to the register and a young man took it and showed it to the 2 men on the pass. At no time did anyone apologise or showed any concern. All I was told was it could have been off a plastic container. Sorry but not good enough. Will not be back
