    This place is nothing flash. Great location. Great car park and great check in. But thats about it. The room was fine. 4 star. Nice shower. Extremely noisy but we can always be unlucky with rowdy people next door. Or stumbling along the corridor. Breakfast was included. Pretty good. They wont cook you anything special - sure some poached eggs but its help yourself to anything else. The Barracks Bar was awful. The main restaurant was booked out so we ate teher twice. Seriously the fish was out of a packet so almost inedible. The chicken satay the next night was dry and very average. I wouldnt eat there again.All up its a decent place. Nice staff. Due for a big makeover. There must be better options in that area.     From the moment I walked in service was friendly and excellent . I am a member of the hotel chain and they really were lovely . Best one that I've been to . My room was upgraded and was stunning room81 - Breakfast was excellent and I had read less than good reviews from the barracks bar but I found the food to be excellent for the price and the setting lovely .     We have just returned from a three night stay with our 4 children aged 23, 19, 18 and 13 (and 1 girlfriend!) We had the most wonderful relaxing time! Our room was beautiful - clean and spacious. We had a daily Buffett breakfast included in our package, which was delicious. The food from Barracks Bar was sensational and we loved the daily happy hour (4:30-6:30). The most impressive part of our stay, however, was the staff. They went out of their way to help us out and were so friendly and hospitable. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. I will return to work tomorrow feeling refreshed and relaxed! Thank you to everyone who works there for making our stay so lovely.     Beautiful parkland setting and location.Room was clean, well appointed with comfy bed.Good facilities for families with children.Good buffet breakfast and coffee.Harvest restaurant is open Fridays and Saturdays only.Barracks bistro restaurant is less than average and brings the entire resort down.Consider eating elsewhere or BYO a picnic on the beautiful grounds while watching the sunset.
