Location

The hotel is set on a tree-lined street mid way between Darling Harbour and Bondi Beach, close to the Opera House and the Harbour foreshores. Perfectly positioned for shopping, Sydney's famous shopping centres, markets and boutique shops are also within walking distance. The Rock, with all its dining opportunities, is just 3 km away. With taxis, trains and buses to the front door, all of Sydney's attractions are within easy reach. Sydney Airport is about 8 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 7 suites, 225 single rooms and 63 double rooms, which are located on 11 storeys and are reachable by 4 lifts. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, room service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Bicycle storage is available to guests.     Great service great staff. Anna at the front desk is the best. She took great care of us. Hotel very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The neighborhood is great with many sidewalk cafes. The metro is literally under the hotel and bus connections are close. Great place to see Sydney

    I stayed at Holiday Inn Potts Point in Kings Cross, Sydney and it was a good experience. The hotel offers a good price compared with many other hotels in Sydney. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.The location is excellent because it is right next to Kings Cross train station, making it very easy to travel around Sydney. There are also many restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby.Overall, it is a good hotel for the price and a convenient place to stay when visiting Sydney. I would recommend it to travelers looking for good value accommodation.

    Extremely dated hotel in great location

    I recently stayed here for a few nights while visiting family. This hotel is in a fantastic location, minutes from excellent Potts Point restaurants and shopping and train station right across the street. Sadly however this hotel is in desperate need of an upgrade. My room was extremely tired. The bathroom sink & bath very marked from years of wear and tear and the carpet and flooring looked dirty. The doors and hallways also very marked and dated. I believe that the room was cleaned to the best ability but everything is so worn it still looks dirty. There was also a very musty smell throughout the premises. The bed was comfortable enough and the air conditioning, although noisy worked well. The lighting in the room/bathroom was very good. There was some traffic noise but the sound of the air conditioning helped to drown this out.The staff were lovely, always friendly and helpful. I didn’t use the bar or restaurant so can’t comment. Although such a great spot I will probably stay elsewhere next time.     This property is an affordable option in an excellent, vibrant part of town. The hotel is beautiful with modern and comfortable rooms, and in my room choice, an excellent view! The staff was so professional and helpful, especially Crystal and Ference at reception. It's also very convenient to public transportation. I highly recommend this property.
