Location

Superbly located right on the beach, the hotel is only 15 minutes from Circular Quay and Sydney's central business district. It is also easily accessible by public transport. Sydney Airport is around 20 km away.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 213 non-smoking rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected.     A 4.5 hotel with 6 star aspirations

    Another amazing stay. I stay here regularly, and am an Accor Platinum member, so I concede to some degree I likely get special treatment as a result of being an elite VIP regular guest. On the Sunday before I arrived, the Deputy head of VIP services wrote me with a more than one page outline of all my preferences, such as how many pillows I like (8 - 4 soft, 4 firm, with the soft on top of the firm), and breakfast cerial I like (natural untoasted from a brand that shall remain nameless in this review). I was so impressed I wrote to the General Manager nominating her for an employee of the month award. As usual everything went really well. I call this a 4.5 star hotel, with aspirations to be 6 star. They upgrade me to a complimentary sea view room, which my wife loves which a passion. A quick example - how kind they are to me - India was a new member of the VIP team. I spent about 10 minutes giving her career advice within Accor, and she received this with enthusiasm. In lots of other hotels if I did this, the best I could expect in respond would be indifference, and the worst would be negativity, given I have no relationship with Accor, apart from staying at Accor hotels, and watching Sebastian Bazin the global CEO of Accor on YouTube talking about his vision for Accor, including in relation to staff development within the group.

    Perfect hotel only a 20 minute ferry ride from Sydney’s Circular Quay!

    We celebrated our 30th Anniversary here in a spacious room with a balcony overlooking the tall pines and the beach! It was a wonderful 6 nights, and we felt very welcomed by the staff. The property is clean and quiet and simply decorated. The floral arrangements in the lobby were exquisite! Every morning the ladies at the Manly Bistro greeted us warmly for breakfast and the buffet was full of delicious and freshly prepared options! The rooftop pool was an oasis after a morning exploring Sydney. We enjoyed every moment in this lovely hotel! Thank you for making our Anniversary extra special! We will return!

    Don’t eat in the bar if there’s more than one of you!

    Review of Eating in Hotel Bar7 of us in the bar (restaurant was full) for a meal. One of us got their dish after 2 minutes. Then a gap of 5 mins or so, followed by another dish for person 2. Another wait until person’s 3 dish arrived. Overall, took around 20 minutes between the arrival of the first dish and the last dish. Obviously, the recipient of the first dish had long finished their meal by the time the last person started theirs.When I complained to the Manager, she said that this was how they operated, and the staff should have warned us of this. The staff hadn’t warned us.Seems very odd that priority is given to what is convenient for the kitchen but not to the paying customers.Food was OK, but don’t eat in the bar if there’s more than one of you and you like to dine together.     A beautiful stay at the Manly Pacific. A few things went wrong but were rectified by the manager which was amazing. Would definitely return but hope that they are not short staffed again

    We loved our stay at the Manly Pacific Hotel… from the moment we arrived the holiday vibe begins, the concierge greet you and take your luggage and direct you to the lobby checkin, the checkin is super quick, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The corridors to the room are bright and wide. The room is spacious, quiet, clean and well appointed. Our room has a king bed which is very comfortable. They have a well stocked mini bar also and a balcony with chairs and a small table. The pool is located on the rooftop with sun lounges and pool towels overlooking Manly beach. The is a little small, although great for relaxation until 3 families with 10 kids hit the pool deck and took over the entire area, luckily the beach is across the road from the hotel lol. It would be great if the pool deck had a pool bar, they seem to have space to have one. Maybe something they should consider. Although the hotel has a bar in the lobby that makes quality cocktails with a lounge overlooking Manly beach which is excellent. Across the lobby from the bar is the Manly Bistro which is more casual vibe where breakfast is served. Next to the lobby bar is Cibaria Manly Italian restaurant, the food and service is exceptional, we recommend booking because this place gets super busy. They also have gelato bar which was a surprise. The hotel is located across the road from the beach and walking distance to cafes, bars, pubs, clubs and restaurants. We highly recommend staying at the Manly Pacific Hotel by M Gallery and will definitely stay again in the future.
