    The room was great and location was ideal but it was the after check out service that has been appalling. I was overcharged for parking and after pursuing the matter for 6 weeks there has been no resolution.

    Poorly managed property with unacceptable cleanliness in rooms with drinks still in room from previous guests. Check in staff initially had no record of bookings and I initially would not honour Accor All Platinum, nor Accor business explorer plus status. Check in took an hour. At check out I spoke with Bouralis who was the GM. She was aggressive, dismissive of substandard hygiene of the property. I contacted Accor and was asked to provide written complaint to Trilogy group who have management rights if property. Trilogy group promptly refunded our stay due to dirty room and poor management. We have stayed 5 previous times under previous manager and the property was acceptable, under current Manager I would suggest avoiding this property or risk being disappointed.

    I always thought that the Mercure hotels were meant to be a bit fancy.But that's also to say I haven't stayed in a lot of them but this one, at least, bothered me.From the dingey holes in the bathroom wall from multiple placements of the toilet roll holder, to the stupid extra small sheets and blankets on the bed. Because I have said it before but I'll gladly say it again, the universal triple sheet system on beds, these days, is sh*t!The bottom sheet was too small for the bed, as was the doona.But I guess, so long as it fits in the sheet system and people like to sleep feeling like they're sleeping in crypts and they're not allowed to move, then, great, everything is just dandy.I untucked all mine, because I like to sleep loosely and it sucked. Couldn't keep anything covered.The room itself was roomy, 2 doubles and space for out portacot for the 9mo.Might have been having plumbing issues, because the bathroom did smell bad almost the whole time.Great placement for Rosehill Racecourse goers but I'll definitely save my pennies next time.

    Middle of the road but good for shows at Syd Olympic Park

    Stayed here when going to a concert at Sydney Olympic Park.The hotel runs a bus service that picks you up from the hotel and drops you about a 10 minute walk from the stadium (cost $40 cash) so a good choice if you are going to a concert. The hotel needs a bit of a update as all areas are looking quite tired. Rooms are clean and quite comfortable, but lacking the modern touches. Weirdly restaurant does not open on weekends (takeaway options across the road)Would stay here again if going to a concert, but otherwise unsure.

    A tale of two very different team members

    Check-in was a highlight — the front desk team at my check in were genuinely warm and helpful, especially given the pressure of managing overbookings and guest relocations. Real credit to them.Unfortunately, the stay went downhill from there. On arrival, the room hadn’t been properly cleaned — a previous guest had left behind used underwear and sexual enhancement pills. They were still in the wardrobe. Over four nights, housekeeping was inconsistent at best; coffee, tea, and milk regularly went unreplenished and on one occasion there were no towels left in the room.Check-out summed things up perfectly — I was simply pointed toward the key drop box. No greeting, no words at all. Absolutely zero warmth, completely unwelcoming. There are two types of staff here: those who genuinely engage with guests, and those who don’t. Would I stay again? Probably not
