    A cosy Wintery feel - with old world charm.A spacious room for a solo traveller & staff were polite & Chatty. Michelle was very insightful & enjoyed chatting with guests. The Sauna didn’t heat up much, but no dramas. The location is very good & parking too. I would recommend 💓

    Newport Probus Club has just had a.MURDER MYSTERY NIGHT at the PALAIS ROYALE HOTEL.I recommend this hotel so highly.The manager Eric couldn't do enough for us.His experience in the hotel industry is exceptional. He made the organising of this event so easy because of his knowledge of the industry. Michelle is such a wonderful asset to this hotel also,just a joy to work with along with her courteous staff.     Old world charm, very large room, friendly staff who we enjoyed conversations with, good location nr bus stops ,cafes, restaurants ect.Lounge area was a gem.We will always go here when revisiting Katoomba.

    Very noisy old wooden floors, I had to used ear plugs as I couldn’t get much sleep, banging doors frequently etc.Breakfast was only cornflakes, apples, toast and coffee we paid extra ( on top of the extra) for bacon and eggs which somehow tasted horrible??Location is fantastic and staff were friendly.Prices are too high for the quality of the rooms.
