This hotel at Bondi Beach is located directly on the waterfront and is just 15 minutes from the heart of Sydney. The hotel overlooks Australia's most famous stretch of sand and surf and there are many restaurants and bars in this area. The city could be a million miles away, yet both downtown Sydney and Sydney International Airport are only minutes away, making the hotel an ideal escape for both the holiday maker and business traveller. Attractions such as Sydney Opera House and Darling Harbour are a mere 9 km away.

Facility

English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing.     It ruined my 1st night in Bondi. I moved to another hotel after 1 night. No way is this place 5 star.

    I booked 1 night as I was unsure about location and the hotel and if it was worth paying a premium. I’d just flown up from a few weeks in Melbourne and keen to get into the surf at beach. Checked in about 430pm, dropped everything and went straight to beach for a walk and a long swim.went to have a shower but couldn’t fit comfortably as the shower was too low. So thought I d have a bath. No hot water, couldn’t get onto reception so went downstairs and told to run tap for 5 minutes and they’d come up to check. They agreed it wasn’t hot enough. They offered to move me to another room but I was exhausted and had opened bags etc.Boiled 5 kettles of hot water to top up bath. Deal breaker at 805am next morning was jack hammers and concrete saws. From road work. There is also construction going on in building next door. I started looking for another hotelOnce upon a time you could have called this hotel 5 star. But it’s getting tired. The king side bed was soft but sagged on one side. Floating floorboards creaked in traffic area. Like the furnishings and fittings clearly the commercial hot water system that services the complex which has supermarkets, gyms, Mrs Bakers Boutique Hotel and private residences all work off same system and it’s not up to scratch.FYI the same builder/designer did Mrs Bakers in same complex. This was confirmed as I rang them when I noticed same bathroom and asked if all rooms were the same as I was considering staying there. Thankfully they were honest so I moved to Hotel Bondi as it had both hot water and a shower I could fit in. Anyone close to, or over 6ft tall will have to bend over to get head wet at Qt or Mrs Bakers.

    had an absolutely wonderful stay at QT Bondi. It’s adorable, impeccably clean, and perfectly located—just steps from the beach and all the action, yet tucked away on a side street so it’s completely quiet at night.I stayed for four nights and couldn’t have asked for a better setup. Having a washer and dryer was incredibly convenient, especially for beach days. The front desk staff were warm, helpful, and made everything effortless.It’s a more minimalist hotel—there’s no restaurant, bar, or pool—but honestly, you don’t miss a thing. Anything you need, they’re happy to take care of.Highly recommend for anyone wanting a stylish, comfortable, and perfectly situated stay in Bondi.

    Great Base for Exploring Sydney

    After two nights here of our 4 planned, I am happy to share that the QT is a great place to stay to explore Bondi, Sydney and beyond. We were given a warm welcome and our room is spacious, clean and has it all. The bed is comfortable and with 30 plus hours of travel to get here. That is crucial. All the rooms are quiet- no noise from neighbors. Wonderful to be able to wash your clothes and dry them in your room whenever you like, especially with Bondi Beach across the street.Having a kitchen with a grocery store just an elevator ride away means you can cook breakfast easily before venturing out to explore. Water pressure is excellent, housekeeping attentive , the fixtures are updated and the air conditioning strong. Front desk staff are friendly, helpful with directions and with any help you need to run the dishwasher, stovetop or all in one washer dryer. Take a few of their beach towels across the street to the beach or take a ferry to one of many gorgeous beaches. There are bikes to use if you wish, too. Wish we had more time to stay here but with so much to see down under, we will be back for our fourth night after we tour AU and NZ. Easy to explore Sydney's famous sites from here while enjoying the Bondi vibes. Minor glitches are quickly addressed and the staff are all so nice. Love it here!

    BEST HOTEL IN BONDI BEACH

    I own a travel agency & really love the QT brand this is my 6th QT hotel & by far my favorite. It’s the best location in Bondi Beach. Friendly staff, free bikes, huge rooms, washer dryer, kitchen, soak bath & such comfortable beds!! Laura Walkom, Owner at Qt Bondi, responded to this review This one made our day. Sixth QT and this is the favourite? We’re chuffed. Sounds like you settled in exactly the way we like; bikes out front, bath on full soak, comfy bed doing its thing.     Super convenient location, heart of Bondi

    This hotel is located right in Bondi, stepping out for the beach or shopping is so convenient and easy. My room was large, bright, clean and comfortable. I used the small kitchenette and with supermarket located right in the same building, it's very user friendly. Laura Walkom, Owner at Qt Bondi, responded to this review You’ve nailed it, step outside and Bondi does the rest. We’re glad the room gave you space to spread out and that the kitchenette got a proper workout (Woolies downstairs definitely doesn’t hurt).
