    We stayed here for 2 nights and it was great. On a main road but no traffic noise.Cosy room, great bathroom, nice shower.Laundry on site. Beautiful garden in the center of the carpark. And a rotunda for seating and having your morning coffee.Staff were great.The convenience of the pub right next door for dinner.We had a double room with a sofa bed with 2 kids; 5yo and 11mo.We actually had such a great time.

    Positives:Lots of on site parkingLarge rooms Windows in main room areaClean Negatives:Thin wallsRoom filled with cigarette smoke every time someone nearby would smoke. Suspect coming through the bathroom. Strong buzzing sound all night from the electricity switchboard in the cupboard by the door. Nothing around you, in the middle of industrial area. The cost of a room wasn’t that much cheaper than what family paid on the same night at a large brand name hotel down the road, for a much more comfortable stay and breakfast included.

    This hotel looks decent enough from the outside, parking is easy and the rooms are big but they are the only positives I can find to say about this place. The carpet was the filthiest most stained looking carpet I've ever come across in a hotel. The room was dark. The furniture is outdated, dark, chipped 70's furniture. The bed needs to go to the tip. It was rock hard and on a slant and I had to sleep around the opposite way to avoid my head being lower than my feet. The air conditioner needs replacing. The walls are paper thin and I could hear every word spoken and every move made by the people in the next room. Getting out onto the main road on a Saturday afternoon took forever as the traffic lights definitely do not favour the road from the hotel. Just stay elsewhere.     We were travelling to this hotel after booking online in the morning.3 hour's into our 6 hour drive we were informed that there had been an issue with the booking.com site not aligning with their own computer and they did not have any available rooms for us for the night.The receptionist did not care about the issue and was very rude.Do not stay with this hotel Margaret Singleton, General Manager at Quality Inn Penrith, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. Unfortunately, there was a technical issue with the communication between our bookings.com portal and our in Motel portal. We understand that technology can occasionally encounter failures.     This motel is located just off the motor way in Penrith. Walking distance to eateries, bar and shopping. Short taxi ride to the train station where you can catch a fast train to the city. Staff very helpful and rooms spacious and clean. Had all I needed plus more and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
