  Don't book a room at Space Q, book Germs instead

  I stayed at the Space Q Capsule in early 2026.The Space Q is terrible. it's like sleeping in and around a rubbish tip. There is Germs every where. homeless people walking around naked. it is the worse accommodation you can ever stay at. The hotel industry must have standards. when it comes to Space Q, standards have been checked out the window. i got sick at the Space Q. I was out of commission for 2 weeks. The state government must focus on closing this place down. potential death can occur from germs and diseases. if you are game enough to book at Space Q after reading at the horrible reviewed, trust me before you check-in, make sure you get a tecnis needle shot against all diseases.There are male room only, and female rooms only. That does not exist. female prostitutes always come in to the men's pods and you can hear them having sex with men in the Pods. How sad, iv never heard that you need to pay $5 for a town at the worse hotel in Australia. i have never seen dirtier bathrooms than Space Q. you open the bathroom door and all you see is mud on the tiles, how disgusting Space Q,you win hands down. You are crowned the worse accommodation in the world. Shut this place before someone seriously dies

  Huge disappointment and bad value for money.

  I would NOT recommend this hotel. After using pod style hotels in other places this one fell way short. Was not good value for money.The pod had multiple failures including the door entry strip falling off and was stuck on with selotape, inside the pod the USB connector was loose and was temperamental, and the bed mattress was so flat that it felt like I was sleeping on the plastic shell. The women's bathroom only had 3 toilets and 3 showers for a possible 30 women guests, and one toilet was out of action for most of my 9 day stay. Water dripped from the ceiling in the toilet and shower cubicles also. Grouting was black and mouldy looking so after a shower you didn't feel any cleaner. The only positive was the location in Chinatown was wonderful.Would never stay here again.

  Absolute worst, dirty sheets, locks not working, no one at reception, no linen and no aircon in that tiny pod. I had so many problems, they didn't even send me checkin details without following up

  Was first time experience for me in this kind of accomadation I had to pay high price for this accomadation only because of foot weekend .The staff went out there way to get me a room at short notice as I was unable to get accomadation due to the footy weekend so thank you they were my life saved.Toilets and shower small no good for a large person but was adequate for needs hot water and towels available at $5 .There were washing and dryers available large kitchen if needed . Tv area Certainly would recommend to anyone

  Awful. You might say you get what you pay for but there’s surely even standards to that? The bed felt like I was lying on a table, there was a trail of blood leading from the toilets along the corridor towards my room that was never cleaned up, you couldn’t even sit down in said toilets to defecate as the cubicles were too small, the showers were shocking and absolutely disgusting. Put it this way - I’d have rather stayed in the gulag than this place.
