  An exceptional boutique hotel experience.

  From the first moment of pulling in the driveway and finding our name on our reserved carpark, the delicious welcome drink, well equipped & peaceful room and the exceptional & friendly staff this was a five star experience. Breakfast on the sun filled terrace was wonderful. We own a boutique lodge and appreciate the hard work that goes into delivering such an experience to this level. Well done to The Albert team. We’ll be back. Highly recommended.

  Convenient location to lovely Mosman. Small room quite expensive. Staff Impeccable

  Stayed overnight as it was convenient to a fundraiser event at Chowder Bay. After 10:30pm there is a lift from the street controlled by the room fob which is easy and provides a sense of security. Handy for those with mobility issues too. The Standard Queen Ensuite was ready and very clean for check in at 2pm. There are some nice relaxing spaces adjacent to reception to make your own tea (as a guest) or order a snack or drink. Breakfast is included in the morning 7:30am-10am. The breakfast here is incredible (I went for the Salmon parcel) and it was a difficult decision. I’m taking one and a half stars off because I found the room very small and slightly claustrophobic (particularly when blind was down at night). There was no space for a chair and for those travellers with multiple suitcases they may have to be stowed at reception or in the bathroom. I’m adding a half star because all the staff were very attentive and friendly and putting the double sided heater on while we ate breakfast outside was indulgent. It would be interesting to compare cost with city hotels and the price of an uber.

  The atmosphere was great and the decor on a whole was very good. staff were abliging and friendly. The breakfasts were good although if you have a menu please make sure you have the products to service it. NOW THE UNFORTUNATELY bit! our room was in the basement of the hotel with no view except onto a wall (behind glass pations in bottom of promotional photo) and small area with little to no hanging space. NO real space to put a suitcase. definately not a good choice if you intend to stay for more than 1-2 nights. Family members had a Suite and it was very good, light and airee and worth the money. SO if you need a normal size room book a suite otherwise be warned the rooms are in the basement with little natural light. very disapointing.

  Great service, very comfortable room and very quiet. Appreciated the welcome drink and well stocked coffee machine, small touches that make a difference when you are travelling. Great location close to everything in mosman. Will come again!

  We stayed at The Albert for 2 weeks in October/November along with other family members.The boutique hotel is such a gem . On arrival there was a mock tail waiting.We stayed in a Heritage room which was very spacious, huge comfortable bed, double shower and freestanding bath. As we had the room at the end of the hotel the balcony was huge and wrapped around the side of the hotel.We had breakfasts included with our stay. I think we tried nearly all the options on the menu and all were amazing, including portion size! If you didn’t quite like any of the options on the menu the staff were more than happy to try and accommodate.The staff were wonderful. Markus and all the staff work very hard to make your stay enjoyable. I am sorry I didn’t catch more of their names to mention them.They made us feel very welcome.I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.
