    Disappointing-should have stuck with the backpackers.

    So I drove for 5 hours to get there and arrived at 10:15 pm and just wanted to get to bed. No milk for a cup of tea in the entire hotel except for skim. Not sure how they run the coffee machine. Bedside lamp only with limited output and no positional adjustment as the main overhead light was not working. Option was another bedside pointing at the floor for which staff disappeared and had to be tracked down to see what was happening. Filthy raw wood bedside tables and drawers. Fingers crossed for a shower in the morning. Not a place to bring a partner unless you’re backpacking. Probably should have stuck with the backpackers. Conditions the same but least it was close to my intended location. The gamble for something better away from the beaches has not paid off.

    Very comfortable bed and nice and private room. Love the location. Would stay here again. For a pub also its quiet all the time.

    You get what you pay for. Whilst the location was great, that's where it stops. Some bleach or exit mould in the bathrooms wouldn't go astray. Don't be fooled by the photos it's not like that at all. No personal toiletries in the room, there were 3 of us and only 2 towels (whilst the staff were great providing extra, the booking was for 3 people), no sugar in the room and the kettle still had water in it from God knows when, Also maybe a small bar fridge would be good not wveryone is comfortable using a communal fridge. One of the blinds had come down and just been shoved on top of the wardrobe, told staff and we were met with "oh yeah that happened a few days ago don't worry we won't charge you for it", so the sun beamed in Early hours of the morning straight on to our trying to sleep child. The windows were covered in mould and when you opened them they opened out to the smoker's balcony. Sorry, but we won't be back 😢

    The new dining room menu was exceptional and service was so welcoming. Refreshing experience in an excellent pub. We had a selection of small and large plates to share. The barramundi main was our favourite.The kids loved the house made ice cream.

    Staff extremely rude and unhelpful.Need a lesson in how to speak to people politely.On booking says we can leave luggage here once checked out however manager had an attitude when we asked. Never again.
