  Overall basic, clean and tidy base.

  Great location to be based - it is not a 5star hotel, it’s basic, clean and cheap! If you are on a budget it’s ideal! You only need a room to base yourself out off and to shower and sleep in my eyes! I was room 9 and overlooked their outdoor seating area. Some noise but certainly no noise after 10pm so able to settle.Rooms are up flight of stairs and noLift (so not ideal if not ambulant). Bed was clean and comfortable and plenty comfortable pillow's! Extra blanket if required was available in room. TV in room with a fair choice of channels. Bathroom clean, came with shampoo and soup. Flannels and bath towels were changed daily. Plenty of loo rolls provided. Tea/coffee/milk and water provided on arrival. Good wardrobe, fridge. Staff were smiley, friendly and helpful at all time. Cannot review the food as we never ate at the bar? Hope my honest review helps. On the whole we had no problems encountered.

  Sensational Central Hobart Hotel

  In town for a recent sporting event the Central Hotel is exactly that, right in the centre of Hobart CBD.The rooms are massive and plenty of space. The ensuite is very spacious as well.Plenty of nearby activities being in the middle of the city, including markets, restaurants and shops.Very safe walking around the city but always practice caution in a modern city but overall it's a safe area.Easy to walk around with the hotel situated in the city and everything you need is all close by.Complimentary coffee and tea is in the hotel room and plenty of restaurants, cafes and take away places are just outside the hotel.I didn't get a chance to go to the downstairs pub / bistro but the menu looks brilliant.

  Rooms are above a pub/pokies, but noise isn't a problem. It's right in the heart of the city, plenty to see & do within walking distance. Doesn't include parking. It says there is free breakfast, but that's not true. Room has fridge, kettle, coffee/tea, free bottles of water. Good hotel!

  Clean and convenient in Hobart Central

  I was booked in a budget queen room for one night. A warm welcome and a pleasant surprise by how large and clean the room and en suite bathroom was. Immaculate white linen on the bed, ample clean white towels, a small fridge with free water and kettle with tea and coffee. Bathroom was large and well equipped though the shower was small and a fixed shower head, the only slight problem. Central to everything in Hobart and easy on the pocket, I would highly recommend and definitely use again.
