Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. To ensure guests a comfortable and relaxing stay, the hotel provides various services and facilities, including room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry, a smoke alarm and a smoking area. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge.

Rooms

Rooms feature a kitchen and a bathroom. Central heating ensures comfortable temperatures. Guests have mountain view from the balcony or terrace, which are standard amenities of some rooms.     These cottages are a good find! Close to the road to Cradle Mountain, they offer great accommodation at a reasonable price. Spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The bathroom was updated and it had a great deep bath, perfect for after hiking! Plenty of linen, kitchen equipment, big TV, sound system and outdoor picnic tables. Aircon. Free guest laundry. Had a good sleep, too, very quiet. Thoroughly recommend.

    Was unsure about thus booking, but need not have worried. We’re are in Hartz Cottage … and its adorable.First up: it’s huge, and very, very clean. Its well appointed throughout and the bathroom must have been done recently - it’s georgeous. Big deck overlooking the bush, and a fountain nearby. Got nothing to complain about.

    I really can’t fault this place. A day or two ahead of time the emailed the check in info. And everything was a breeze. The cottage was very clean and well furnished with everything you could use. It was easy to find. The rate was very reasonable, especially considering it was only a 20 minutes drive from Cradle Mountain, where the accommodation rates are ridiculous. When we return to the area we will stay again!

    Stayed 2 nights last week, received a text a week before with all the check in details. Very easy to find and its only a 20min drive to the Cradle Mountain starting point. The Wellington cabin was clean and tidy. Everything worked. Cabin was nice and warm. Bathroom was large and easy to use. Cooking was easy. While I did not use the spa it looked like a great thing to do.

    Stayed in the Hartz cabin for 2 nights and wished it was longer. The cabin was perfect, spotlessly clean, spacious, modern and very well equipped with gorgeous bush outlook and on our last day woke up to completely snow covered and still fawling, just beautiful. Only a 25 minute drive up to Cradle Mountain. Well worth a stay in the Cradle mountain area. Highly recommend Cradle Alpine Retreat.
