Location

Superbly located in the streets of Sandy Bay, the hotel is nestled in a quiet garden setting. This property is within walking distance of the Sandy Bay beach, Sandy Bay shopping and dining precinct, Wrest Point Casino and the University of Tasmania. A few minutes' drive away is Hobart city centre, Salamanca Place, Battery Point and Constitution Dock. Other nearby points of interest include the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens (3 km away), Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (2 km), Maritime Museum of Tasmania (1.5 km) and Franklin Square (1.5 km). Port Arthur Historic Site is approximately 50 km from the aparthotel and Hobart Airport is around 15 km away.

Facility

The apartment hotel has 18 apartments. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Other services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, room service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry.

Water sports enthusiasts are offered banana boat rides. Parents can unwind while the kids can participate in an entertainment programme full of fun activities.

Meals

High chairs are available at the restaurant. A delicious breakfast provides energy for the rest of the day.

    Perfect Location for our group of 6. We stayed in the attached Air BnB which can sleep up to 8.Walking distance to Sandy Bay eateries. House does have stairs to upper bedroom. King bedroom downstairsCourtyard, no off street parkingTastefully decorated old word charm

    The hotel itself was ok, but the manager named Jen was very unprofessional. Here is why. We had to carry our own utensil because of my parent's dietary requirement. While leaving the hotel, Jen saw us putting our utensil in car. 20 minutes after she called me and said a pan is missing from room. When I asked if she checked everywhere and she said yes, which was a complete lie. So drove return back to hotel in heavy traffic to figure out whats the issue. When I met her face to face and I said we dont have hotel's pan, she said she saw us putting that in our car from corner of her eyes. She started apologising when we show our utensil and didn't have answer when I asked why did she not come out asked us immediately about when she saw it from reception. This incident ruined by day's schedule and really upset all of us. Jen should not be as manager for better reputation of hotel.

    Couldn’t find one negative to say. Great location on a quiet street and yet just about 209 meters from woollies, restaurants, bars and cafes. Extremely well Located. Lovely spacious rooms and very helpful staff. Ample and comfortable beds. Nice parking spots. Would definitely stay again when in Hobart.

    booked 9 nights and stayed in studio apartment.late arrival and the room was toasty warm.beds, pillows soo comfortablebathroom was spacious and shower fitted with rainfall showerhead, water piping hot.supplies of shampoo, conditioner and soapkitchen tea, coffee, dishwashing liquid, plenty of bin bags, microwave, and plenty of utensils and cookwarethe place was spotless.walk to supermarkets Coles and Woolworths 10 minswe preferred to shop at Hill St Grocery which had a wonderful selection of cheeses, readymade meals and cooked meatsbus stop 3 min walk away, about 15 mins to Hobartwe stayed in number 7 which had views from the kitchen window of Mount Wellington and up 10 stairsit was quiet at night and we slept welllaundry on the premises $3 for a load, dryers available but we used the clothes maiden for dryingreception staff were helpful and friendlyyes, we would recommend the Grosvenor

    We stayed in the main 3br house on Grosvenor St for 6 nights and absolutely loved it! There was plenty of room for the 5 of us, with accommodation for 8. The house is well appointed with many of the original features maintained. It is super close to all amenities, with the main shopping strip of Sandy Bay virtually at the end of the street. It was surprisingly quiet though, which was great. The team at Grosvenor Court apartments were always happy to help, although we were relatively self reliant. They also provided multiple towels, toiletries and kitchen equipment (tea/coffee/cling wrap etc), which doesn't often happen in self contained accommodation. Car parking is on the street, however we were able to use the Apartment parking if it was available (street parking is often easier to access on a weekend when the apartments are busy in any case). We would gladly stay here again next time we're in Hobart - thank you for a great experience!
