    How does he still have a job?

    The manager or owner was incredibly rude when we called to change the booking. Instead of simply saying "Sorry I can't do that, but am happy to offer an extra night." Like a well adjusted adult would. He decided instead to be obnoxious and condisending, Honestly saying he was rude would be an massive understatement. Constantly cutting me off every time I tried to speak and speaking nonsense loudly over the top of me as a child would bullying another child. We were very taken aback, I travel all over and have never once been treated so badly. A grown man acting in this manner toward customers who hadn't even arrived yet. When I managed to get a word in I said I would be leaving a bad review to which he smuggly exclaimed "Haha, people don't read reviews!" and then hung up.This guy needs professional help. Don't give him any of your money.The Bush cabins in Hobart offer better value and much better service.

    Great spot with comfortable beds & all we needed for our visit in Hobart. Laundry facilities & kitchen available Only a few kms from Hobart and close to MONA and other sites Our room was clean and well presented and we were able to have an 11am checkout to connect with our flight. Great spot for a very reasonable price Thanks

    For a place to camp for a few days this place is ok. Close to Hobart, the views not so elegant but the rooms are good, clean and spacious, room for most things you might wish to do, there is a kitchen available 7-7pm which is nice, the downside of the rooms upstairs is a pet peeve, there is a designated smoking place situated at the end of the corridor where the evils meet each each day, unfortunately it’s situated upwind and the evils either leave the door ajar or because of the comings and goings cigarette smoke fills the air. If you are an evil yourself you will like it but like me you are a staunch anti evil you will hate it just like me.

    We stayed at the Waterfront for 21 days, using it as a base for our road trip. We had two rooms between three of us, and the budget price couldn’t be beaten for this type of accommodation. The motel is of the old style but has been maintained quite well with bright and comfortable rooms. Room facilities are good, kitchenettes with toaster, microwave, plates and cutlery, plus a communal kitchen to use. The rooms and linen were very clean. We weren’t disturbed by any noise even when the motel was fully occupied(it’s very popular). The location is excellent. There is a bus stop just down the road, the 561 and 562 buses run on the hour and get you into Hobart central in about twenty minutes. A shopping centre with a Coles and other stores is a ten minute drive away.I enjoyed my stay, the staff were so pleasant and obliging. I would thoroughly recommend this motel.

    Exactly what we wanted!

    We stayed here for three nights while exploring the area around Hobart. Our room had two single beds, a small table with two chairs and a couch. I liked the large window, making the room bright. Towards the door there is a small kitchenette: Extra sink (!), microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. There was also cuttlery and plates to prepare our microwave dinners. Perfect for our purpose. The bathroom was small but well done, plenty of room to keep the toileteries. Also there is a line to span to hang some clothes - great idea! Everything was clean and seemed to be new. There was always parking for us and we slept well. We enjoyed our stay and it was a great place to crash out for the night after a day full of sightseeing.
