    If you would like....Someone else's. Hair.nail clippings And ants crawling up your legs while your on the toilet just ask for room no. 1

    We enjoyed our 3 nights here.Instructions for after hours access was very clear and easy.Our room was spacious and offered all the little extras to make ourstay comfortableReception very helpful and pleasant.Bus stop is very close by and there’s parking on site.Lots of restaurants, and shops just out the door and a cosy hotel on site offeringgood pub meals.We would definitely stay here again.

    A spendid time in Hobart at the Mayfair Plaza in Sandy Bay

    We booked four nights at the Mayfare Plaza in Sandy Bay. Our room was one of the new additions to the complex and provided comfortable sleeping arrangements, A fully equipped kitchenette, a two seater lounge and a TV. Parking was also within metres of our room and easily accessed by an internal ramp that negated the need for heavy lifing of luggage. The bathroom was very good with a large walk in shower.The accommodation is centrally situated in Sandy Bay with bars and restaurants and takeaway noodle and asian food within the complex. It is about 1.5km from Salamanca Markets. We were driving and parking was easy at the city carpark for about $3.50 for three hours. It was about a 100 metre walk to the market from the parking station. But do remember the Salamanca Market occurs on a Saturday only but get there early as it gets pretty crowded.Exploring Hobart by car was easy and the drive up to mount Wellington was breathtaking. We had a rainy day on the Sunday so we decided to take in a movie at the State Cinema in North Hobart. What a remarkable boutique movie house it is.

    Stayed here for a couple of nights. Nice sized room with large comfortable bed. Kitchenette area with microwave and utensils. Friendly welcoming and helpful staff. Convenient for city centre. Shops and Coles supermarkets on the doorstep. Car parking. Recommended

    We found reception in a poorly lit underground carpark. The room had cold lino right thru, not even a rug by the sofa. Cold cotton sheets and a synthetic blanket (we found more) but how about an electric blanket for $184 a night- it was July! Never again
