    Good motel to stay and be close to Hobart city

    Not too far from Hobart city centre, restaurants and Hobart tourist area. We practically walked from the motel but the return journey to motel is hard due to steep incline. A Uber service from the city centre to motel cost about $9. The car park is narrow but available. Parking is also available on the street.The rooms are large and comfortable with a two seater sofa. The TV is very small to watch from the sofa. WiFi is good.Room service and cleaning is minimal. During our 3 days the rooms were not even vacuumed but the towels and tea/coffee were replaced.Good place to stay at reasonable cost and have good access to restaurants, city and all Hobart tourist places by walking.

    I stayed in a standard room.It was a little 'tired' but priced accordingly.The room was warm (perfect for Winter), with clean bedding and bathroom.There was a bathtub which was great.Staff were very pleasant & helpful.Good location, close to the city centre & to the Hill Street shops (incl supermarket, convenience store, restaurant & cafe).I would definitely stay here again.

    Filthy run down hole shower head hanging loose loose hair all over bathroom floor open food from previous guests left in cupboard attracting ants food stains on floors food crumbs throughout cupboards surfaces covered in dust and best of all no smoke alarm...called to notify said you have fire extinguisher we will replace tomorrow expecting us to sleep the night here without one until I explained it's against the law and I want it fixed now...these people don't care for there guest safety or providing a clean enjoy full place to stay...avoid this over priced dump at all costs

    Old world vibe.Very pleasant and comfortable.Great location.Easy booking process.Easy check in process.Economical rates.Free parking.Great in room facilities including microwave oven.I would highly recommend to anyone.

    Reminds me of great grandma’s musky outdated place. The carpet was stained, Furniture old and worn. Wallpaper peeling off the walls. Hideous paintings on the walls. Bedding very dated. Grout and sealant missing in the bathroom. Not a prude by any extent, but could not stay here.Seriously needs some money spent on this establishment.When my concerns were brought to the attention of the staff, their reply was, “It’s a 150 year old hotel”.Obviously. Not worth the money asked for the low quality of the place.
