Worst Hotel i stayed in on my trip to tassie

What a horrible place , gave us a shoe box with two single beds and a toilet that you had to shuffle $forward to wipe as the shoulders touched each wall when sitting , asked for better and was upgraded for $40 .the key i was given the room was not serviced since last occupier and was soon replaced with another room , which by then i gave up and settled for an over priced dog box , The restaurant had decent food but was terribly overpriced at a bowl of Spaghetti Bolanaise at $29 or sweet and sour pork balls $29 as well . these marvelous meat balls i really dont think had meat at all more like bread crumbs and soy powder , also the sauce was bottled stuff not even real so yeah you can keep it !

Would do much better if they answered their emails and their contact site messages. From all I can make out, a very good place to stay if you can talk to them.

This is a basic motel & had it everything I needed - bed, bench space, small table & chairs, good hot water supply, microwave, tea & coffee facilities, air-conditioning, extra blankets.Carparking was off-street & in front of the room.It's not the best motel; it's not the worst - It's fit for purpose.

A one night stopover in Deloraine

The Motel was very clean and had recently been repainted. We had a"luxury" room which included a spa bath, and other amenities as would be expected in a motel in a larger Country Town. The check in girl was very good and helpful. Unfortunately, the Spa bath was out of order, and we discovered a track of ants crossing the floor from back to front wall. The receptionist supplied a can of insect control which stopped the ants, and we did not see any more during our stay. We had hoped to have dinner at their Settlers Restaurant which we had heard very good reports, but we discovered that did not open on Monday nights. Generally, we were happy with our stay at this facility and must say we had a very peaceful sleep. It was not an expensive motel, but we found very comfortable and good value for the money.

A Very Comfortable Stay. The Settlers Restaurant is a gem.

This is a beautiful spot with comfy rooms and a brilliant restaurant on site.It was also very popular so book ahead!I had a queen bed, and a great nights sleep! The shower was hot, everything was clean and tea and coffee was provided. Also a toaster, fridge, iron and ironing board. We walked over to the restaurant and enjoyed quality food. Stand outs were the damper, and Seafood in Creamy Mushroom Sauce.Deloraine is a lovely town and a great place to explore.
