Location

The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Devonport's central business district. The establishment is one of the largest hotels in the northwest of Tasmania and is placed at the gateway to the Cradle Mountain region, a 6-minute drive to the Spirit of Tasmania ferry terminal, a 1-hour drive to Launceston and a 3-hour drive south to Hobart. Devonport Airport is a 10-minute drive away.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 88 rooms and 2 junior suites. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional facilities include a TV room. Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the king-size bed. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. Other features include a direct dial telephone, a TV, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge). Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

The sports and entertainment facilities at the hotel ensure that guests have plenty of activities to choose from during their stay.     Love the renovated bathrooms - very classy, roomy & functional. The staff are so friendly, efficient & welcoming- especially that they would have a lot of one night stays for boat passengers. Breakfast was as good as some of the top hotels & plentiful. The room was functional with two chairs, a table, side tables & decent TV. Close to shops. Plenty of parking.     The room was clean and had everything we needed. The bistro was good. Quiet. Excellent casual meal menu. Good continental breakfast. Great coffee!     Absolutely awful. Staff need a major update! Beyond rude. If they didn't want to be at work, please do them a favour and hire people that actually want to do their job.     Comfortable Stay in a Dated-Looking Hotel

    Stayed for a business trip. Positives:- great central location- nice clean room- big shower, good pressure- spacious- lots of free parking- good room service foodNegatives:- building looks like something from the 90’s ghetto. I know that’s only an aesthetic thing but it does look mega run down. - the back door says it’ll be locked at 11pm, but I went and checked and it was open well after midnight. (I had a midnight maccas run) pretty dodgy looking back entrance. Overall:Good for a few night stay in Devonport. I’d book here again.
