    Central location with opportunity to see Spirit of Tasmania

    We stayed in a superior twin ocean view room and was able to see the Spirit of Tasmania come into port. The hotel is located centrally, and cheap carparking close, which the hotel guest services was happy to arrange. The TV is large, bar fridge is small, beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a good size.

    Lovely, new hotel on the edge between the main shopping area and waterfront walks. The waterfront in the area has been upgraded with new gardens and artworks. Good sleeping and a nice bathroom.     Clean modern hotel in good location

    The location can’t be any better. The hotel right on the oceanfront and 100 m from the city heart. We got the best room on the top floor, and we could see large ships passing by. The room was spotless. The Malaysian restaurant onsite is good. It has Malaysian, Indonesian, Vietnamese and Philippine food. The breakfast was quite poor with limited selection.The reception staff were very helpful. On their recommendation, we visited the beach where fairy penguins come for nesting and an arboretum where we could see platypus.The valet parking for $25 was convenient.     Great Staff and Views but avoid breakfast!

    Great rooms, lovely staff and amazing views! Don’t waste your time adding breakfast, it’s terrible, for a Novotel, and considering price per night, I would have excepted a lot better! Plus extra $5.50 for a coffee on top of cost of breakfast, drip style coffee included with breakfast but no automatic coffee machine that most hotels have these days. No room service after 8pm on a Saturday night, at least that was the message said when using QR code and no answer when I rung down. As a gold member I received some lovely Sparkling water and chocolates which was lovely.
