Really nice hotel recently refurbished. It’s cosy and warm! The bathroom is really handy, and the bed is comfortable. We highly recommend!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Prince of Wales Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, offering all the comforts I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities provided exceeded my expectations. The hotel’s location was perfect—close to key attractions yet peaceful enough to unwind at the end of the day. I also enjoyed the delicious dinner options and the overall ambiance of the property. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

The accomadation has been completly renovated and is modern,clean and well presented. We loved the balcony and space we found in the Hampden Suite with views across the Derwent River. The location is central to great restaurants and close walking distance to Hobart City,Salmanca Markets and Constution Dock. No car required but easy and secure car parking is avaiable witg easy access to park larger vehicles.The staff were wonderful and courtious and the in house restaurant had a fabulous menu.I have no problem reccomending this revived establishment to any traveler bussuness or pleasure.Thanks POW

Well done to the team at POW.Fantastic accommodation refurbishment, great location and plenty of local eating options in this historical area of Hobart. So close to Salamanca Place and the Hobart Waterfront. Loved the double glazed windows and strong WiFi.regards, Greg
