    Location was great and that's where the pros for this property stopped. We checked in and were immediately underwhelmed by the room, its presentation and conditions. The room felt old and not updated. Certainly online pics are not representative. It smelt manky. We went for a walk and decided to immediately check out and moved to a more appropriate property The staff whilst friendly were not really interested in addressing the issues we raised and seemed happy to just let us leave. We are stunned by the reviews which led to selection of this property.     The stay at Salamanca Terraces was very disappointing. Yes the location is excellent but the tariff for a one bedroom apartment was excessive. There was no outlook from the unit, there were no decent wine glasses and the shower was over the bath. Overall the unit felt very dated and dark. We did manage to shower but felt unsafe. Certainly not the level of accommodation we expected. We have raised our concerns with the management but have received no response.

    One bedroom apartment very spacious & had everything required to cook meals & do own washing etc. Parking was including & onsite. Only drawback was some noise from the street with traffic & pedestrians. Great access to Salamanca markets, Shops & Battery Point

    We highly recommend this accommodation. We stayed for 4 nights in a one-bedroom apartment. The staff were professional, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Its central location was a great base for us while we explored Hobart and its surrounds. The accommodation had everything we needed - lots of space, a well-appointed kitchen and laundry, comfy lounge and dining area, and a separate bedroom with a comfortable bed and a large wardrobe. Other impressive features are its quiet location, a complimentary parking spot, free wifi and daily room service.
