    Booked here for a night. The room was dark, rundown and the bathroom smelt mouldy. Bed was hard as nails. Wouldnt recommend

    Reception was unproffesional. Receptionist was busy on the phone and at the same time tried to do my checking in. I experienced a disregard for my dignity. When I switched on the air con, to warm up the cold room, clouds of dust came out and messed up the bed. The most uncomfortable matress I have ever slept on. The noise levels at 00:11 from the floor above as well from next door were very annoying. Limited tv viewing. The bed at least was clean. The shower has mildew and the plastic curtain is sub standard.

    I made a last minute booking here as I spontaneously decided to have a quick long weekend on the East Coast. It being peak season most other places were fully booked or asking crazy prices for their remaining rooms... I got a 3 night stay for about $470.We last stayed here about 19 years ago and it was a comedy of errors so I was interested to see what the place was like now. I was pleasantly surprised as the room was actually quite pleasant and had been refurbished (although it will need a re-carpet and re-paint soon!). The pool was nice - not really warm but warmer than the ocean.Issues - reception hours are very limited. This is a nuisance as they also don't do daily housekeeping. You have to go and ask reception for new towels etc. Not good enough for a three night stay! I really dislike that and no excuses - hire more staff if you need more housekeepers. And don't tell me it is a regional area - if you pay enough, you will find people. Also the Wi-Fi was terrible - there is a sign saying there are limited spaces but that is not good enough. If you are fully booked you need to have good enough Wi-Fi to cater for all guests. I could only get Wi-Fi on Sunday night. Lucky I could hot spot to my laptop or I would have had no way to use it.So in summary, a good stay but it could be better with a few tweaks.

    I may have underestimated the word spicey for the "Spicy" Parmigiana. It was delicious but i had to leave half a dozen of the pickled jalapeno slices. Service was good but with only 2 showing tables, delivering meals and fixing drink orders it was a bit hectic.

    Friendly obliging staff and clean room.My wife and I stayed for two nights, Friday & Saturday night & booked via Booking.comIf you're staying check carefully their website before making the booking as they had a loud music band on Friday night, and many drunken revellers, so not much sleep at all ! Reception advised us that we should've checked the website before coming, but as we said "You forgot to tell Booking.com."Saturday night, was bliss, no band, and being so exhausted, sleep wasn't an issue.Our only other complaint was the noise created when people leave their room as they slam the door, and the noise reverberates throughout the hotel; So no one sleeps until everybody's finally settled for the night.
