    Great motel in a sweet village close to Cradle Mountain

    A cute motel in the middle of the most darling little village of Sheffield. I regret not booking for longer stay. The motel is lovely with clean, big rooms and small kitchenette. Even the laundry room is impeccable. The owners are a sweet couple and obviously very proud of their business. Very gracious hosts. Highly recommend as a base camp for hiking Cradle Mountain - which you can see clearly from the village and motel.

    Nice place to sleep and chill. Sheets so fresh and crisp. Had everything needed. The murals around the town are a good see. Town bit quiet on a Monday though but the pub had a good meal. It’s a handy location to stay. Nice bathroom supplied as well.

    One of the nicest country motels I’ve ever stayed in. Clean, spacious and great service. Close to shops and cafes with terrific Tasmanian scallop pies. What more could you want?Also laundry was great to clean out well used clothes after six days on the Overland Track.

    We had three bedroom unit. Staff were generous with extra towels, tea/coffee and other accessories. We had small kitchenette with electric frypan, toaster, microwave and kettle.Unit was clean and well maintained. Location is great to break up a trip to/from Cradle Mountain/Launceston. Staff were helpful and friendly.

    An excellent find. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was immaculate. Lovely fluffy towels and well appointed kitchen. The room was spacious and quiet. The bed comfortable. Motel is located in the heart of town, an easy walk to everywhere.
