The hotel is located in the historic seaside town of Swansea, adjacent to the main beach and 30 minutes from Freycinet National Park. From Swansea, the towns of Bicheno, Coles Bay, St Helens, Port Arthur, Richmond, Triabunna, local wineries and the ferry to Maria Island National Park are just a short distance away. Hobart International Airport is approximately 137 km away from the establishment.

Stayed for a couple of nights whilst exploring local area. This is a "tradtiional" holiday offering with unique properties which whilst appearing a bit dated provided everything you needed. Staff really helpful in suggesting how to spend time after my day trip cancelled

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Cute and homely it had everything you need for a couple of night stay. Good location within walking distance to the local tavern and just a short walk into town. Nothing fancy bet very comfortable.

Meg was terrific. She made sure we had milk for our tea and gave local food recommendations. We stayed in the Cherry Cottage. Super clean, blackout curtains, quiet, lots of TV channels, hot shower, washer/dryer and a comfortable bed. We walked to the Jubilee beach (very close) and walked along the beach to the jetty in town. Wish we could have stayed longer.

NOT 4 star! NO way! No idea how they ever got 4 stars. Without a doubt the worst motel I have ever stayed in. The stale smell was horrid, something may be dead in the big cupboard near the door. The bed was terrible, the room outdated. Just horrible. So overpriced!

Very cute and clean cottage. We ate our breakfast al fresco on one of the tables and chairs that are provided for the guests to enjoy eating outside.The cottage was more than adequate and was reasonably spacious.A small kitchenette is provided and a nice touch was a couple of packaged mass-produced cookies. A nice touch when you have been travelling all day.The receptionist (a French young woman) was very helpful and suggested a few restaurants, one of which she gave us a card to access a 10% discount. We ate at this bar and restaurant two nights in a row as it was only a few metres walk from the cottages.We enjoyed staying here.The cottages are within walking proximity to the store and restaurants.There is quite a lot of land attributed to the property with a school next door.
