    Wowzy not good. It is the bronx. Drugs everywhere deals being made. Car trailers do not fit. Did not want to refund money. Kept alot of money booked for 4 days. Argued point oh I am losing money. Who on earth in right mind would stay in bronx.Pool was closed down by council. So not able to use either. Looks good from.road.Close up.not good at all. Yuk yuk yuk.

    The motel should check the rooms before they allocate it on the website for booking. I booked a Deluxe Triple Room and received a double room with an external door that would not lock, leaving it open to the public to enter. I was then moved into a single room with five beds with the excuse that the owner is not there to fix the lock and there were no other rooms available.Will not recommend anyone to this motel.

    Took a chance and pulled into the Alabasta Motel, Oxley St, Taree NSW on the off chance they had a vacancy. Manager on duty, friendly,, Polite, courteous and very helpful. Gave us a room with a car space in front of the room. The room was spacious, very clean, well appointed, facilities to make tea or coffee, double bed very comfortable. Accidently left valuable puffer jacket on lounge and didn't realise e had left it there for abu 2 weeks. Phoned Motel, spoke with Evi the cleaner and she confirmed we had left it there, she had found it and had placed it into a lost property cupboard. Very happy to get it back, Also, the pub directly across the road sells great food.

    On a recent trip this was the cheapest of 15 motels we stayed at. Unlike other reviews though, we found it provided exceptional value for money. Very large room with two very comfortable double beds. Good shower. Air-con and wi-fi worked well. Separated from a very pleasant River parkland by a quite busy road. But with the double glazing we hardly even knew it was there. Sure, the rooms are a tad dated and would benefit from a refurb, and the cleaning was adequate rather than great. But we appreciated the big, airy, well equipped room at a most reasonable price.

    The biggest room! What a great location, just opposite the park, right with all amenities, and walking tracks! Only thing missing was a double element (portable stove) or an electric fry pan or something - only thing cook wise was a microwave
