  Reliable Comfort in the Heart of Albury

  The Mantra is a solid mid-range hotel and has become my go-to place when staying in Albury. It’s conveniently located within a short walk of restaurants and local dining options, making it easy to head out for dinner.I’ve stayed here a number of times and the rooms are always comfortable, with a particularly large bathroom. Having a kettle and microwave in the room is very handy for reheating dinner or leftovers, although there is no toaster.Parking options include street parking as well as paid parking underneath the building. The meals at the hotel are very good, however on this visit we chose to eat elsewhere as the restaurant prices were quite high.

  A one night stay for business. Bed very comfortable. Very attentive staff. Clean everything. Good restaurant down stairs on ground floor (Greek). The only thing was where to park when checking in. There is no driveway, and limited parking out the front. To make it harder, when (you have to) you illegally park to check in, behind the car space directly out the front, there is a concrete median behind you. When you find out you have to use the public car park, up the ramp, it’s behind your car - between the concrete island and where you access the ramp to park. Other than the difficult check-in it was a great stay.

  The Good, The Bad and The Down Right Awful

  Firstly, the good. The hotel is well located and easy to find. Our room was clean and well appointed. Check in was easy and they have on site under building paid parking.The Bad - The restaurant didn't open on Sunday Night, no prior notice that they didn't open. Also, this meant no free drinks, however hotel did provide a complementary bottle of wine.The downright awful - had breakfast in the restaurant, from the buffet everything and I mean everything was cold. Not just warm but actually cold. We have probably had over 200 hotel breakfast and this ranks as the worst ever.   Nice hotel.

  This is a newish hotel and in very good condition. We chose it because it had parking (paid, underneath hotel) and we are hooked up to the ALL Accor app which gives us a small discount. The staff are welcoming and friendly and were able to point us in the direction to get some food in the evening; only a short walk away there are plenty of restaurants and bars. The rooms are large and well appointed with a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathrooms are a good size and the water pressure in the shower was good and the water was nice and hot. We paid for breakfast the following morning ($20?) which was good; buffet style and as much as you can eat. If you are in Albury we can recommend this hotel.   Well appointed rooms

  This centrally located hotel has excellently appointed, quiet rooms at a reasonable price, and feels quite exclusive for a regional town. It was beautifully clean, with great amenities. Service was polite but rushed, as there was a lengthy check-in queue. We had a suite, and it was ideal for two females travelling together as we both had our own bedroom and bathroom, so it was private but convivial simultaneously. Some rooms have great views over the city or up to the hills surrounding Albury. I will definitely make this my regular hotel on my trips to Melbourne.
