    Disgusting

    rating15 May 2026

We stayed at the Mecure, Albury. I had stayed there before when Megghan Gardner was the concierge and manager and it was wonderful, so I suggested to my Wife that we stay again on our way to Melbourne. It was disgusting. The room was filthy, there was no milk provided and no coffee or sugar. The window was cracked and the air-conditioner did not operate, hence we had a cold and unpleasant long night. We were really tired after our travel to Albury so we thought we would eat at the restaurant. We both had what was supposed to be the barramundi, but it was not. It was a piece of very overcooked frozen fish. We will never stay at the Mecure ever again and we shall ensure that all our family and friends avoid the place. Disgusted.Ash Renee Cullis, General Manager at Mercure Albury, responded to this review Thank you for your feedback, I'm sorry to hear that your stay wasn't enjoyable. i will look into the issues that you have raised however the team would have been more than happy to help correct these if they were bought to their attention, We hope we have the oportunity to show you our dedication to our customers in the future

    Ticks All Boxes

    rating11 May 2026

The Mercure ‘ticked all the boxes’ of what I was looking for - central location in Albury, free and ample parking, quiet room with blacked out curtains, TV, hairdryer, iron, super comfy bed, great service, very reasonably priced accommodation and excellent breakfast menu. The staff went ‘above and beyond’ by adding a single bed for my female friend, as we didn’t want to share a queen bed and that meant, we didn’t have to book another seperate room. Would definitely recommend Mercure Hotel in Albury. Renee Cullis, General Manager at Mercure Albury, responded to this review Thank you so much for your beautiful feedback, we hope we see you again soon

    A comfortable room

    rating07 Mar 2026

Overall, we had a pleasant stay and have given a 4 out of 5 rating. The bed was very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep, and the room temperature was well maintained throughout our stay. We also appreciated the curtains, which effectively blocked out the morning sunlight, allowing for a restful sleep-in. The room itself was also quiet, which contributed greatly to the overall comfort. There were a couple of minor issues. The TV volume could not be increased using the remote control, and because it was a Kogan TV there did not appear to be any manual way to adjust the volume directly on the set either. While the staff kindly provided a bottle of wine as compensation, which we appreciated, resolving the issue did take up a fair amount of time that could otherwise have been spent enjoying other activities during our stay. The bathroom design also resulted in a significant amount of water ending up on the floor during use, which may be something worth reviewing. In addition, the carpet colour is not an ideal choice and detracts slightly from the overall presentation of the room.Despite these points, the quiet and comfortable environment made for an enjoyable stay, and we would still recommend the hotel. Andrew Freak, General Manager at Mercure Albury, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. we will have those issue looked at but appreciate you bringing them to my attention
