The hotel is ideally located to experience the diversity of the Albury-Wodonga region, only 3.5 hours from Melbourne. Situated on the shores of Lake Hume in Albury-Wodonga, the holiday park provides the perfect holiday getaway. Albury Airport is about 20 km away.

Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services and facilities include a TV room, a playroom, a laundry service, a conference room, a fax machine, a coin-operated laundry and a smoke alarm. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. The grounds of the accommodation feature a playground and a lovely garden. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. A bicycle hire service gives guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area independently.

Rooms

Rooms feature a kitchen and a bathroom. Central heating ensures comfortable temperatures. A balcony or terrace is among the standard features of some rooms. Best holiday park!

Best holiday park we have ever been too!!We tagged along with my husband for one night for a work trip and we were so sad to go. The pool is amazing - the outlook over the lake is breathtaking! As it was school holidays, they had a movie night on a projector with free popcorn, a lolly and snack stall setup from a local retailer to buy things and the staff were just so kind and generous. They had lawn games setup to play and every detail was thought of for use of the outdoor bbq’s etc just making your time away that much easier. Our cabin itself was basic but as expected due to a last minute booking and need to travel for work.My 3 daughters just loved every minute of our short stay! Unfortunately as it was holidays we couldn’t extend our stay another night which is totally understandable because it was just the perfect for kids to enjoy!

We stayed here for two nights during some dreadful weather (cold, rain and windy), so unfortunately didn't get to experience everything the park has to offer. But we loved our cabin - good size (esp the living area), good bathroom, and good heating. The location is very quiet, and it's approximately 15 minutes to drive into Wodonga. Pick up your supplies there and use the kitchen to cook your meals. Parking is a bit tight, especially with a larger vehicle. Note that the lake level is quiet low at the moment (August 2025). We would love to return when the weather is better.

Shame that the water level was way low which made photos a bit deceiving when booking so a good hike to water edge . Stayed in a ensuite site and they were clean and caravan park it self was nice . Have to drive to shops nothing close by to walk . I must say this park did have a resort style pool area.

Lakeside waterview cabin no 306

We had a waterview (lakeside cabin) cabin no 306. The cabin was desperately in need of an update. Very old kitchenette without storage facilities for any pantry goods. The bathroom left a lot to be desired the sink was so badly scratched it looked dirty. Shower you had to step into so if you have mobility issues it would not work. Flooring old laminate that was split and lifting in places.You have a small parking spot that did not fit our car without it hanging its tail onto the roadway. And the parking is not close to the cabin to carry belongings indoors.Sadly we were unable to use the pool and spa area for 2 days of our four day stay. Firstly the reception said it was due to a chemical imbalance in the pool then said it was due to their garden maintenance as the palms were being trimmed. Would have been nice to know in advance that facilities would be unavailable. Smells like rubbish

The park itself is great but en-suite sites 1 to 6 are 3 metres from the rubbish storage area 20 large rubbish bins. Our camp site smells terrible and temperatures in the mid 30’s with overflowing bins doesn’t help may as well be camping at the local tip Mark Leman, General Manager at Discovery Parks - Lake Hume, Victoria, responded to this review Hi Daza G, thanks for staying with us at Discovery Parks - Lake Hume, Victoria.
