    Views like no other!

    This hotel is well priced for the fabulous location and views it offers. The bed was very comfortable, good shower and the views from floor 11 were sensational. Location perfect for walking along the strand for food or drinks. So nice not to have to drive anywhere. The building is getting a bit tired, and the windows leaked water when it rained hard one night. Although clean enough, it wasn't spotless. Could do with a guest compendium to advise where laundry facility was. The washing machines were pretty filthy. All this said I would definitely stay here again.

    I really like this place, amazing location and awesome views.Good room sizes and the higher the floor the better.Staff are friendly and helpful and there 7 days a week to assist.We stayed here for Feb and March (8weeks) and returned beginning of May for a few days.Room was serviced regularly and lots of fresh towels... pool was clean and tidy.

    Rooms not made up before hand over

    We dropped our luggage as we asked prior due to arriving in Townsville and checkin was not available (this was ok as it was only 10am) we had a meeting to go to. Bags were dropped in boardroom. We received text at 10.30 to say our room was ready and available for checkin however our meeting was few hours so we headed back at 1.50pm. (our bags were still in boardroom open for everyone to access) we headed to our room and had dirty dishes in sink, dirty towels in shower, food on bench and fridge and bed was slept in. Horrified much. We went back down to foyer and were told it had been done. Told them we were heading out for lunch so they could access anyway. Went back about 9.30pm and still food in fridge etc. building is dated. Staff were just friendly but some were not looking approachable at all.

    During our stay the shower and bathroom sink had very little pressure and the hot water was barely warm. When turning the tap all the way hot the water would almost stop running. after alerting reception of issues with the pressure/hot water we were advised someone would have a look but no one ever showed up. Also asked a second time but they didn't know if someone was coming to inspect the issue.

    Location is wonderful, property needs upgrading. It’s adequate but it has the opportunity to be the jewel in the Townsville crown. Whoever owns this property is underestimating the potential. 24 hour reception was not in place. The rate was reflective of the standard
