For somewhere relatively remote this was better than expected. Clean and neat rooms (white and fluffy towels) Good food for breakfast and dinner. Fabulous and friendly staff.

Wish we had stayed here not the lodge we booked for similar price. The cabins looked way better condition than we had. The restaurant food service and beach/rainfirest location was really nice . A small clean pool too Relaxed welcoming vibe

Most convenient hotel to stay in the Daintree

    rating13 Jul 2025

Most convenient place in Cape Tribulation. Lovely place. Love the beach access: got to enjoy the forest meeting the sea in the morning sunshine.Trolley available to help take bags down, but hard to bring back up. The paths were well lit. Room was generally good, looked as good as the photo. However, the bathroom, namely the shower area, could do with a renovation. Nature sounds are fine, it’s where you are, but the walls are not soundproof: you can hear the people outside. The air-conditioner was a bit noisy too. Would be better if there was allocated parking as spaces were limited.Gets quite dark after sundown, so was limited to the restaurant on the premises to eat as it can be tricky to drive around in the dark and there’s no signal for navigation. The food at the restaurant was okay, bit pricey. (Online menu was outdated.) Does have some gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. It was nice however to have games available to borrow to play.

    Enjoyable place to stay

Great location with the restaurant close by. Bring cutlery and crockery if you're looking to BYO food as there's nothing like that in the rooms.Room is small but there's a porch to sit on and look and the surrounding rainforest. Overall a great place to stay

    Incredible place, incredible service.

Just amazing. The most spectacular outlook around the resort and so close to the beach. The pool the best I've ever swam in. So fresh, just swimming amongst the rainforest. Sitting down by the beach while I read my book with no one else around was incredible. We had an infant and although dinner started at 6pm each night they fed us early night one and rushed our meals out night two so we could get her to bed. The chef was rolling out quality meals in record time with a group in and the whole restaurant team was incredible. But the best thing - while trying to pack we left our laptop there. The Couple who managed the resort got in touch, and as they were driving to cairns the next day dropped it off to us. That is Service! Will recommend to everyone and can't wait to return.
