Comfortable rooms, but no plates or any orher sort of cutlery. It was good value for money. Not a lot of parking areas. The guest laundry was lacking in washing machines and driers for the number of rooms that were there.

Do not stay here. On arrival check in was good. Receptionist was friendly. Got into the room (62) wasn't the cleanest. We had flown from England so wanted to shower. The shower doesn't stay up. Swings off the wall making it impossible to shower properly. You have to use on hand to hold it up. We stayed for 3 nights. It is currently 4.45am on the third night and all 3 of us including my 4 year old daughter have been awake for an hour due to a raging party in one of the rooms across the block. In the rules it says no noise after 9pm but there is noone around to do anything at all if this isn't adhered to, so we're just having to suffer the noise. Doors slamming, screaming, singing at the top of voices and music so loud I could tell you every song that is being played. We leave here to drive tomorrow and are going to be absolutely exhausted. I would not recommend at all. If there was someone here to assist in this situation it would be ok but there isn't so any noise and you just have to suffer. The noise last night was bad until midnight but we got on with it as was able to sleep after but tonight has been absolutely awful.

I always stay here when going to town.Clean, big rooms with easy parking near by and walking distance to the water and shopsFriendly staff always happy to give good recommendations for food and things to to Can highly recommended as a great and convenient place to stay in cairns !

The reviews are right. This place was very basic and the room quite dirty. There was grime build up in the bathroom and the toilet. The pool was ok but my son found a glass bottle at the bottom and some ear plugs so not sure how often it was cleaned. The staff were lovely and bent over backwards to help us with towels and soaps etc but the hotel itself is rundown and old and dirty. We had no Wifi for the whole of our holiday as well, even though they said they would try to fix it. I would not recommend.

RUN. go somewhere else the faeces was enough to make me gag - cockroaches everywhere and seems like it puts up homeless people - you know they charge 500$ a week - to the locals to live upstairs of the office and treat them like rubbish for doing so - then again they may be supporting the government with housing homeless people , so the drinks and drugs are really bad -STAY AWAY
