Nestled at the gateway of the famous Margaret River, the beach hotel is the ideal destination point for guests to tour the beautiful wineries, restaurants, art galleries, museums, forests and many other highlights that splendid Busselton has got to offer. Perth International Airport is approximately 80 km from the aparthotel.

Facility

The apartment hotel has 2 lifts and features 185 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the apartment hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Rooms

    Upon arrival, we were initially placed in Room 73S, which had a very strong cigarette odour throughout the room. We reported this issue to reception and requested alternative accommodation. We were then moved to Room 75; however, unfortunately, the condition of this room was equally unacceptable.Room 75 also smelled strongly of cigarettes and was in an extremely poor state of cleanliness and repair. The bathroom floor had clearly not been properly cleaned. I wiped the floor with tissue, and as shown in the attached photograph, the result was disgusting. In addition:There was a blood stain on one of the armchairs.There was no hot water available for showering.The range hood was heavily soiled.The microwave was dirty and cracked, which presents a serious health and safety concern.The pillows were old, flat, and uncomfortable.There were paint chips and visible deterioration throughout the room.the special needs bathroom was slippery, and the seat was on such an angle I slid off itThe standard of accommodation provided was completely unacceptable and far below what would reasonably be expected from a resort property.     I can't express enough how lovely the staff are at Abbey Beach Resort; always so polite and attentive to guests. On my final morning, the one chef and one waitress on staff were very cheerful and provided food in record time despite being so busy!     Spacious, clean, all amenities of a resort. Squash, tennis, indoor pool my kids enjoyed very much during colder months. Right on the beach, good for walking, fishing etc. Very competitive rates, highly recommended.
