    Great spot close to eveything

Great room studio king. Close to shops, restaurants. Windows that opened for fresh air. Very roomie, clean, had a small kitchenette. We did not eat in the restaurant it did not have a big choice. Front Reception was very helpful and free underground parking. Would I stay again? Yes, good value .

The most uninviting arrival to a hotel room

    rating24 Feb 2026

We stayed 2 nights in a studio room. Not our first stay here however other stays were when it was called something else.Check in was friendly but everything I asked she told me she was new. I had to ask can you check as she didn't know the answers.Apparently the hotel wasn't busy, but despite this they gave us the most horrible uninviting room location.1st floor, overlooking the road (cars, hoons, street sweepers going bye), room located between guest laundry and alot of hotel service areas. Wish I had of taken a photo when we checked in.. dishes on the floor, laundry doors wide open, trolleys in the hallway and a huge rack of linen, looked like a junk yard. We were like this is going to be an interesting stay! Why put anyone near this area especially during periods the hotel is not busy.Don't try rest in the room in the early afternoon, it's as noisy as from the staff working in the area and pushing rumbling trollies past your door! Yes do not disturb was on the door.I wish we had of asked to be relocated before we unpacked but looking back would have been nice if the hotel had this foresight to think of this. The hotel is noisy as above and from other guests and their rooms, slamming doors, conversations in nearby rooms, banging, water running, kids etc..The bathroom needs an overhaul its so dated and the shower is disgusting with mould marks in the grout. The hotel still use small bottles of shampoo, conditioner etc. and the smallest block of soap I have ever seen. The room Smelt so musty. If you look up from the outside all the room windows are open as was ours. The bed was ok but firm. The safe was closed and we were unable to use it. Shouldn't this be checked by the cleaners? No spare toilet roll or hand towel left in the room.Great location, easy walk to town and shopping centre and the Bunbury entertainment centre is across the road.Plenty of places to eat & drink nearby.Nice little beach out the back of the hotel.Secure car parking underneath the building. You need to retain a room key to get down to the car park in the lift then there's a key return box. Car park gate opens automatically on way out but found we needed to be quite close for it to open.Couple of packets of Arnotts biscuits provided along with 2 bottles of woolies spring water.Dome cafe is located behind the hotel near the beach. Will look what else is around next time we go down to Bunbury.

Very poor, tired old hotel in need of refurbishment

    rating19 Jan 2026

This is a tired hotel. Says it is 4.5 stars but in reality is not even 3 stars.I have stayed there regularly over the past 4 years and this has to be the worst stay.Booked into room 109 on the ground floor at the back of the hotel, I would say overlooking the car park but the windows was opaque so you can’t actually see out of the window.I had to walk past the common laundry room, complete with someone’s left laundry. The room smelt musty and the bathroom was in need of a deep clean and replacing of broken tiles in the shower. These have just gathered dirt over the years. Very poor, did not feel clean or luxurious as you would expect for 4.5 star hotel.Unfortunately there is not a lot of choice in Bunbury.

    Staff was great.

    rating27 Oct 2025

We have been staying at this hotel since 2013, Some years annual other years more. It appears to be time for a revamp in some areas, BUT this stay over 4 days was made special by the staff in the restaurant. My wife and I thank very much Daria, Jodi and Taylor. We felt the hotel was lucky to have all three. Thank you ladies and we look forward to catching up next time.

A perfect spot for a Bunbury holiday.

    rating25 Oct 2025

This hotel is located adjacent to the Bunbury CBD and is in walking distance to shops and restaurants. There are several enjoyable walks close by such as the Leschenault inlet circuit. Our room looked out on Koombana Bay and the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful.
