    We've been coming to The River for a few years now, always cleanrooms, good bar and restaurant service. The location is handy, staff friendly and the music's good.

    We always stayed at the Margaret River Resort for years ! Its location is A1 & great value for money ! We recently spent a weekend away at the resort. Our room (#18) was clean, but several issues came to light for us. Firstly, the security chain for the front door was completely missing which meant any of the resort staff could of entered our room if we were still in the room ?? Also, the bedroom area was absolutely frezzing. There was no air conditioner in the room, not even a floor heater ?? We'll still be coming back to the resort when we visit Margaret River again. A complete maintenance audit on all rooms needs to be done to pick up item that need to be repaired

    Clean, close to town, good pub downstairs no issues whatsoever. Close to beach and other tourist attractions like caves, distilleries and of course wineries.

    The online booking and checkin was good and reception friendly and attentive. The rear spa suite, consisting of loungeroom and bedroom was spacious. Dining and was casual with better than most cuisine. What did let our experience down was evidence of previous apparent flooding that caused considerable delamination of the bathroom door, severe discolouration on the interior bathroom door handle and a chipped corner to the lounge table. If you are a light sleeper like me, I suggest you take and use ear plugs if you want to sleep in (quite intrusive traffic noise from the closely adjacent road. Replacement of previously damaged fittings would give a less tired and more cared for impression.
