  Location excellent, hotel could be improved in certain elements to excel

  While this hotel was nice it unfortunately did not live up to its expectations.Location- ideal, ski in and out and we were blessed with excellent weather Restaurant - excellent and fantastic service from a very warm and welcoming team who were kind and attentive; Mark, Nicole, Peter, to name a few. Food was also excellent for dinner Was not good to have to pay for tap water and bill needed checking as most days we were charged for items we hadn’t hadBreakfast was ok but agree with other comments that it could have been varied / a couple of items added to make it excellentSnack afternoon nice but shame you could not get a glass of water or tea/coffee without paying. Annex - needs investment, rooms are basic, shower set up poor. Ridiculously noisy so didn’t sleep properly for 7 nights, appreciate some of which the hotel cannot control. Mattresses and bed set up need improvement if you are to get a good nights sleep. Some of the Management - average, lack of smile, didn’t check how stay went, very transactional, taking payment for bill only. To add again the team were excellent

  Had a fabulous stay in this lovely family run Hotel, nothing was ever too much trouble for the lovely Anna and her family,to Mario serving lovely coffees in the bar area,and all the wonderful waitresses and waiters at the stunning DinnerDelightful Hotel and we will definitely return next time

  Good but could be better

  We are having a great stay, however there are a few things, I believe they could improve on. Firstly the breakfast is basically the same every day, perhaps a few different options could be made available.We have no complaints with respect to our room, although some of our group are not happy. The ski room is tiny and is only capable of seating 4 possibly 5 at a time, there is loads of space in the garage, so it does seem daft that they don’t expand the space for the ski room. The food is generally very good, however when they have a private booking the service goes down hill. We have now been sitting in the restaurant for over an hour and have had one course, which we have served ourselves. We have cancelled one of our starters as we will be eating our main course at 10. We have already addressed this internally and taken steps to improve coordination and timing to ensure smoother service going forward.With respect to the ski room, we are of course sorry that you found it too small. Interestingly, it is often praised by many of our guests for its functionality and heated storage system.   We spent a week with our family in this very well-run family hotel. The location is amazing – right on the ski slope.
