    Lovely hotel in great location

    We were at Hotel Basur as part o a tour group (Newmarket) for Christmas. The hotel is in a lovely location - convenient to St Anton and elsewhere by road and train. The views are fantastic. Our room (410) was very comfortable and had a fabulous view! The holiday staff were all lovely and the food and service were excellent! They even provided a turkey lunch just for our group! Our only disappointment was that we were not seated in the beautiful main dining room but in a more simple room and we felt our group was crammed into the end and we were restricted in seating choice and expected to stay at the same table for the duration - a first for us! and something to sort out with Newmarket. But loved the hotel as a whole. ( PS take fruit salad out of fridge earlier in the morning so it is not frozen!!!) Thank you for a lovely stay

    We are currently on a family trip from New Zealand and had a fantastic experience staying at Hotel Basur. The rooms were top quality and service was excellent. The friendly staff made everything so easy for us and we’re always there to help with any questions needed. Thank you so much for the hospitality, we are looking forward to coming back!

    Very nice stay at Basur apartment

    We very much loved our stay in the Riffler apartment at Basur. We are a family of 5 and the apartment provided lots of space with effectively 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The hotel was just across the street where we enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the 4-course dinner. The dinner menu provided various options including meat, fish and vegetarian meals, also suitable for our teenagers. The bus stop to Sankt Anton ski lifts and village was also just across the street. There was a slight challenge with our teenagers wanting to stay later at the apres-ski bars and there no longer being buses available to Flirsch after 18:30. The apartment was provided with clean towels on a daily basis. However from a sustainability point of view some hooks or an electric towel heater would be better. Staff was very friendly throughout the hotel. We will definitely consider coming back to Basur in the future!

    Flirsch is a scenic village, but has no shops and is rather remote, although there is a regular bus service to St Anton and Landeck. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with good food and service (especially from Klaus) and the rooms are well refurbished but basic; there are no drawers or shelves, no full length mirror, no tea making facilities and no safe.

    Hotel Basur has had a beautiful renovation while still maintaining its character. The room that we stayed in has been refurbished and redone in a splendid manner. The bathroom has had a complete makeover with an awesome result. The breakfast buffet is very nice and each evening the dinner was delicious. Value for money at Basur is really 5 stars. On top of that the service was as always excellent. We have been here 7 times and we will definitely be back!!!
