Lovely few Days at Hotel Martha

Just back from few days at Hotel Martha, staff were extremely helpful from start to finish and accommodated us on some last minute changes as well. Excellent service and very attentive staff, especially Robert who went out of his way to help us with general queries and advice.Thanks againJon Mitchell

A really excellent place to stay while visiting Zell Am See. A perfect location with easy access the ski slopes.It is a very welcoming hotel, with good sized rooms that are comfortable.The food was incredible, and there was great service from Robert, who was very attentive and friendly.We thank all the staff for our lovely stay, and would definitely recommend and come again.

Description is not what it is, entire place was closed on a Wednesday night

We did not expect to arrive at 5.30pm to an unmanned and empty hotel only our room key left. Restaurant was closed, bar was closed and there was not even an honesty bar like most hotels we had stayed at during the week. Not even a bottle of water in the room albeit a fridge and glasses! The hotel is also on a hill and a 25 mins walk to the town centre. None of this information was available on the site I booked this on.Worse still, when I left feedback on the site about this I received an unprofessional and snotty response: it was on our website (I didn’t book via their website so why would I need to go on there) about the closure and if you check out Google maps you can see the elevation of the hotel, who does that!! Will not return and would not recommend.

The discrepancy between the positive reviews here and reality is huge!We stayed for one week/ 7 nights together with our teenage sons. Despite booking three months in advance , they claimed there was no possibility to get rooms next to each other. The staff was in general very non service minded, no smile, no greetings, no good morning or any other initiative to interact.Our room was so small with a leaning cealing, meaning we could not walk straight everywhere in the room, nor work on a laptop anywhere else than in the bed. since the hotel is missing any lounge area there is no place to sit outside the qroom/bed for working. Both rooms were not properly cleaned with spider nets and the first night our kids had a dirty sheet including a brownish stain. When notifying the staff both rooms were cleaned. The restuaurant was closed two evenings meaning there was no where to buy anything to drink.To summarize ; any other place you stay in Zell am See should be better than this one.

Romantic, sweet, delicious and friendly! Great breakfast and perfect position for skiing! Very clean. It feels like home!! Skiing straight in the backyard and then straight to the spa!! Also it is a Pet friendly hotel!!
