  Another great stay at the Castel!

  We last visited in January 2020 just before the onslaught of COVID 19. James from our group of six could not make that as he'd damaged his Achilles Tendon playing racketball. 2021 was a no ski zone so we decided to go back to Serfaus in January 2022 to show it to James. That proved not possible and finally we got there on 2 March for 4 nights. We were greeted with great warmth by the family and by Sabine and the facilities and food were, as ever, excellent. We were blessed with cold weather with bright blue skies and great snow so brilliant skiing. An epic holiday!   A real gem of a hotel!

  Six of us stayed here for four nights. We have skied together each year for over 15 years in many different Austrian resorts and we felt this was one of the very best. A wonderful extensive ski area and ski conditions were great. On arrival we were greeted by the charming Sabine on reception and she told us all about the hotel and arrangements for ski hire and ski passes. Thereafter all of the staff including the Pernkopf family were equally friendly. The facilities including the Wellness/ Sauna area were all excellent and the decor modern. Our rooms and en suite bathrooms were comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfasts and the hot breakfasts were cooked to order by staff in the servery area. The evening meals were five course and beautifully presented and delicious.The hotel is five minutes from the Metro which takes you to the ski lifts at one end of the village. However we preferred to do the 10 minute stride to the ski lifts as we could walk in shoes/walking boots as the hotel provides guests with a card enabling you to store boots and skis in the Locker Room at Bacher Sports just near the Bubble Lifts.Overall the resort has great infrastructure and the hotel is of a high standard in every way. I hope we will return before long!

  Top notch hotel

  Lovely family run hotel. Big enough to feel relaxed, small enough to feel personal. A must with good food fresh clean rooms comfortable beds ! A little walk through the village to the ski lift is required.

  Brilliant choise for our vacation. Got upgrated to the Castel suite in the beginning. The 5 course diners were more than we never expected, such an experience to the busy parents. The spa section was luxury. The stuff was really friendly and helpfull. And what a view from the windows, either facing the Alps or over the village.

  Great hotel with good service at 5 min's from train station

  Nice hotel with very friendly staff and excellent food. Located on upper road in town. Parking available in garage. 2 min's walk from Murmili park for children, 5 min's from train station and 15 min's walk from ski lift. We did not find the distance to the ski lift disturbing because we were so pleased with the hotel. Ski storage in depot close to skilift was included in the price.The double room w/balcony we had was smaller than we had thought based on the pictures shown on the website. However, room was clean, had good beds and a well sized modern bathroom with shower.
