  What a wonderful stay at Hotel Elements Resort Zell am See! The location is fantastic—perfect for exploring the area—and the included Summer Card made getting out and about so easy and enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent, which is a big plus for us and a great way to start each day.We stayed as a family of four in a two-bedroom suite and it was spacious, beautifully appointed, and had a huge balcony with truly spectacular views. The whole hotel feels ideal for families as well as couples. The spa and pool are lovely—the water is warm and comfortable (not too hot), so you can relax there even in winter.Most of all, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We’ve stayed at several Alpine Family hotels and they’ve all been great—this one certainly lives up to it. Highly recommend!

  Amazing stay, great service, great people and ambiance

  We loved this hotel!! The view from the room was amazing, the beds very comfortable, delicious breakfast every morning, the spa facilities very clean and peaceful. All the people at the from desk were very friendly and helpful. Short walk to the supermarket. ariet express gondola and ski rental Bründl or a bus that takes you to Kaprun to ski.

  We came for a weekend to Zell. The hotel looks amazing on photos. But doesnt live up to the expectations in real life. The rooms are ok, but not for the money you pay. There an amazing amount of damages in the hotel, rooms and hallways. The Spa has short opening times and no towels on site. Every day our room was not serviced before 16:30 and no fresh slippers or bathrobes for the spa while they were clearly still wet. And also no place in the room to dry them as all is heated with floor heating. When ordering drinks at the bar for by the pool they didn’t have enough plastic cups for 4 drinks and there was no one by the pool having drinks at that time. Staff is friendly but can’t help you if they do not have the tools to do so. Ok hotel. But not for these rates.

  SERIOUS SAFETY VIOLATION

  On the day of our arrival, we were allotted a room that was freezing cold, with the room heating system completely non-functional. Instead of fixing the issue properly, your staff handed us two portable room heaters, which is frankly shocking for a resort that claims premium standards—especially during peak winter season with sub-zero temperatures.The situation escalated into a serious safety incident the very next morning at 7:00 AM, when one of the heaters started emitting smoke, filling the entire room and triggering the smoke alarm. While my family—including small children—were inhaling smoke, I had to run to the reception myself to seek help. By the time assistance arrived, the room was already filled with smoke.Your receptionist openly admitted that the heater provided by the hotel was the cause of the smoke. Do you understand how dangerous this is? Children inhaling smoke is extremely harmful to their lungs, and this could have easily resulted in a medical emergency or worse.To make matters even more unbearable, we were forced to open all doors and windows in -7°C temperatures just to clear the smoke from the room. This is beyond unacceptable—it is reckless negligence.As if this was not enough, basic housekeeping standards were completely ignored:- The dustbin was not cleared- The sink in the living area was not cleaned- The bedroom has not been cleaned even once in the past four nightsWe travelled such a long distance to experience and enjoy the beauty of Zell am See, only to have our holiday completely ruined by unsafe conditions, poor maintenance, and total lack of accountability.After paying a huge amount during peak holiday season, this experience is absolutely not worth the money, and more importantly, it has exposed my family to serious health and safety hazards.Given the gravity of this situation, I am formally demanding:1. A FULL REFUND of our stay

  We stayed at the elements resort in Zell Am See for 5 nights and it was OK. Some of which is my own fault I had not realised quite how far it was from the centre of zell am see. It is based on a commercial unit next to a lidl and some other stores and is about a 5 to 10 minute drive into Zell Am See and the lake. The room itself was very nice but the bed was so soft and pretty unbearable. My son slept on a sofa bed which was the opposite and hard as a rock. The facilities in the room were good but housekeeping was pretty poor and the room was not the cleanest. My son loved David at the front desk who was super friendly and did an excellent high 5. The pool was nice but small and breakfast was good. Lots of choice. It isn't going to knock your socks off but it was fine for what we needed. The summer card was a real perk for zell am see and kaprun, we could not believe that we got so many of the attractions discounted or free and made max use of it. Also highly recommend Falken Air if you want to give paragliding a try.
