  Perfect for families, not ideal for couples.

  The Hoppet is a “family” hotel. This means you can expect lots of children.This is ideal for families but I would advise against couples unless you want to experience what it’s like to have lots of children running around!The hotel itself could do with a refurb. The room was clean but smelled a bit musty. Also unlike 99% of other Austrian hotels the room was quite cool, to the point of needing jumpers on!The wellness area was also quite tired and in need of a refurb. On the plus side: the room was large with a decent balcony. The food choices were excellent and the service very good. The staff were also excellent. The hotel is quite a distance from the ski area snd there are only two buses a day. So a car for me was essential. The views are also very good. Would I go back..? Probably not but would I recommend, for an all inclusive family vacation this is ideal. Familienzimmer mit Talblick mit großer Terrasse zufrieden waren. Danke auch für Ihr Lob für unsere fleißigen Mitarbeiter, die abwechslungsreichen Themenbuffets und den Service im Ferienhotel Hoppet. Ihre Reisezeit lag in den Winterferien von vielen europäischen Ländern, dadurch waren auch viele Kinder im Hotel, natürlich gibt es auch Saisonzeiten, in denen keine Ferien sind und somit kaum Kinder im Hotel sind. Diese Zeiten haben auch den Vorteil, dass sie doch um einiges günstiger sind als die Ferienzeiten. Wer keine Kinder mag für den gibt es inzwischen viele "adults-only-Hotels" die liegen aber meist in einer anderen Preisklasse.Unsere Schwimmhalle wurde im Jahr 2023 generalsaniert, das Becken selbst im Jahr 2024, daran sieht man wie individuell manchmal die Eindrücke sind, da Sie uns schon wieder eine Sanierung empfehlen. Das Hotelrestaurant wurde im Jahr 2019 entkernt und komplett neu gestaltet, die ältesten Zimmereinrichtungen stammen aus dem Jahr 2008, die im anderen Haus aus dem Jahr 2011, wir haben also keine alten Zimmer. Die Einrichtungen sind allerdings passend zur Region im ländlich-modernen Stil gehalten. Wir versuchen durch laufendeInvestitionen immer am Ball zu bleiben.Die Zimmer werden auf eine angenehme Raumtemperatur geheizt, sollte es Ihnen aber nach Ihrem individuellen Empfinden zu kühl sein, können wir an der Heizung die Durchflussmenge erhöhen bzw. auch ein zusätzliches Heizgerät zur Verfügung stellen, man muss uns dasnur an der Rezeption mitteilen.Unser Hotel liegt im Zillertal - einer der weitläufigsten Skiregionen der Welt - das nächstgelegene Skigebiet ist 3,5 km entfernt. Es bringen Sie 2 Schibusse am Morgen zu diesem Skigebiet, von dem aus Sie mit Anschlussbussen auch weitere Skigebiete erreichen, am Nachmittag geht es auch 2 mal retour. Ein weiterer Schibus bringt Sie direkt in das Hochtal Hochfügen, eines der beliebtesten Skigebiete in Tirol.Wenn wir Sie auch nicht gänzlich überzeugen konnten, hoffen wir doch, dass Sie ein paar schöne Urlaubstage in unserer Region und im Ferienhotel Hoppet hatten.   Brilliant stay in Ferienhotel Hoppet

  The hotel is spotless. Beautifully located on the hill facing the grand mountains covered by snow. Unforgettable stay for skiing and exploring Zillertal area. The Family Haun and the team are extremely dedicated to visitors and make you feel special from the first minute of your stay. Fantastic choice of food, exceptional quality and presentation.All the waiters are polite and highly respectful. They know what are your preferences for a drink and always on time with a smile.Rooms are clean and well presented. Spa area and the swimming pool are essential part of the hotel complex. You will find every thing you need in the family run outstanding hotel.

  The restaurant does not feel safe for Corona

  The restaurant has relative many guests on an indoor small surface. Therefore I got a fearful feeling for Corona disease.Although the tables are one metres separated and people wear face masks while walking, the number of guests on such a small surface is not healthy nowaydays.Recommendation for the owner: Do split the diner in two groupsAlthough the quality with respect to price is very good, we think this place is more 3 stars than the 4 stars it has. As you wrote, the tables are separated one meter due to the regulations in Austria. The Restaurant also is separated in 6 parts by glass walls and we have installed a very good air-condition in the year 2019.We dried to split the meals in to two groups starting the summer season, but it was not possible, because too many guests did not respect the given times.Regrettably you did not tell us, that you want to have more distance to other people, there were 3 other rooms in the restaurant area, that were completely free, because there are not too many guests now, because of the travelling regulations.Most times problems could be easy solved during the stay, but you must let us know. To write it in the feedback afterwards will not really help both sides, it is always better to speak to an employee or the host.We wish you to stay healthy and to get back better times soon.

  Beautiful location with a warming welcome

  We stayed there for a week for our ski vacation. The hotel is in very beautiful location, rooms are bright and clean. Food was very nice too, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel offers indoor and outdoor pool. Hotel is near to ski areas - 10min by car to Kaltenbach ski lift.

  Nice hotel to stay with the family

  We spend a long weekend there with our two kids. The hotel offers a nice pool area and the people are friendly. Probably it’s not an hotel you would like to stay as a couple only. Food at the restaurant is average and didn’t really convince us. The views out of the room are nice and you can overlook a large piece of the valley.
