    A very nice hotel, clean, quiet, the staff very kind. Cleaning every day, the breakfast so good and only good words about this hotel. I liked it very much. Also it is very easy to reach the main objectives of this area.

    Very Cosy & Comfortable Place to Stay

    I have very fond memories of this place as a child. The rooms as well as the dining room downstairs are comfortable and cosy, and the hosts are very friendly. The hotel is located close to other restaurants and the ski cable-car. If you're coming to Gerlos, I would definitely advise this hotel for your stay.

    On a week-long ski trip Jan 2015, our large group was fortunate enough to book at the Waldhof in Gerlos. The management and staff were kind, accommodating, and exceptionally patient with our sometimes "overly energetic" (especially after a few hours of apres-ski fun at the Cin-Cin bar that is just a few steps away) group. Excellent location, good meals, and (did I mention?) wonderful staff. Book your next visit to the Austrian Alps here with confidence.

    It was a great experience! We were a group of 26 adults! There made us feel like home! Good food, excellent service. Rooms were good, location is great: après-ski nearby CIN-CIN, ski bus nearby, a Spaar nearby, pharmacy, ski school! Tiny little village with all needed! You could ski down to the hotel. The owner is a great wise person that knows how to run a hotel business.Highly recommended!

    We spent a week in Gerlos in March 2013 for skiing and I must say we have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ski area, ski lifts, ski school for our 3 year old son, friendly welcome in general and the activities proposed.ResortGerlos is a 1300m high mountain village in Zillertal, just in the middle of the ski areas. There is only one egg lift bringing you to the ski area but it is very fast. There are a few hotels around, 2 supermarkets, plenty of shops, etc. We found everything we needed, there are even two doctor facilities and at least the one we needed was great.Waldhof hotelThis was recommended to us by friends who went there a few times. TIt is a three star hotel. It is placed in the middle of Gerlos, 100m away from the ski learning area and the ski bus stops just 50m away.They have a very useful ski room where you can hang your boots to dry and avoid carrying skis to the apartment.There is also parking provided, either in front or to a nearby hotel across the street.Our apartment was fairly big, very clean, good quality bedding and serviced every two days, nothing to complain about. WIFI is provided but for us it was fairly slow.We had half-board formula and we received plenty of food. Breakfast was fairly complete including all sorts of cheese, ham, eggs, cereals, etc.Evening meal included 4 courses: salad to start with, soup, main course to choose from three different ones (including a vegetarian one) and a dessert. You have to mark your choice each morning breakfast time for the main course. The choices were covering our taste, mostly Austrian typical dishes. Overall we received more than we could eat, fairly tasty without pretending a 3* Michelin restaurant. The personnel are very helpful and kind, always with a smile and providing a very good service. On busy evenings the dinner will take a bit longer than expected.Overall we had a very pleasant stay and we definitely recommend this hotel to families looking for a very good quality – price ratio.
