    The two stars go to Service because the people who work there (at the Table Service) you see that they do their best. For the rest as written in other reviews hotel which was probably very nice and finished decades ago but is now very overlooked. The photos of the site are distant relatives of the rooms we received. Uncomfortable beds and very superficial cleaning (spiders and spider webs and even a rubber puppet attached to the ceiling, a sign that you do not look at everything when you fix the room). Walls full of signs and with traces of passing moisture... old bathroom and cracked sink, 1 socket to charge devices, an old radio not working with visible wires... Pool table with an unwatchable green cloth, swimming pool with nice fresh water and tub to go to the garden without water and full of live cockroaches... cushions of outdoor sofas dirty, stained and with holes; in short, for the money spent I would definitely not recommend it. I'm sorry to write negative reviews but this hotel really needs to be taken care of and it's right that those who think they find what they see on the site are prepared to find a different situation.     I can believe this place was once very nice, but now it's looking a little tired, definitely past its heyday. Some of the building is neglected, and don't look too closely at paint or plastering.The decor is very dated with a preponderance of brown. And despite the Austrian Nichtraucherschutzgesetz, the owner smoked his cigarilloes behind the bar during our visit, poisoning the air as far as the lobby.This hotel also charges €5 for wifi! As well as this being almost unheard of these days, it is very annoying. It's not about the €5 (which could be buried in the room rate) it's just the annoyance factor. Good hotels provide WiFi access, that's just a fact. One redeeming factor is that the food is good (not great) and the restaurant service is good too.Avoid if you are a non- smoker!

    We were in this hotel with family . It is very nice place with very good food and wellness. The Best stuff I have ever met and the best owner Felix. I recommend this hotel. Apartments have new look and nice standard. Swimming pool has got clean and excellent water. Good vine and beer is in the bar.

    We spend the second week of the Christmas holiday in this hotel. The room was very spacious and cleaned every day. The food is good and you have enough to eat. This is a nice place to be for walking and skiing. Don't hesitate to ask if you need information about what to do around, they give you good advise. People working in the hotel are very friendly. Thank you for this great holiday.

    Slightly disappointing

    We went out of our way to stay at this hotel again. We had been there 3 years earlier. It was a bit disappointing this time. It was still quiet and way out in the country. The management was friendly and helpful. The hotel has a pool and a spa. But this time it seemed sadder. There was the smell of cigarette smoke. Previously there had been traditional music with an accordion player in the restaurant. But now it was tired old rock & roll with waitresses in miniskirts. There were flies and flying ants that bit me in the night. I guess I should have expected it, being out in the country with the cows. But it didn't happen the first time. They have a great building, modern nicely laid out. It was hard to get a reservation, I suspect due to IT problems. On the other hand, I don't know of any better hotel in Spittal, the next largest town. Too bad. It could be great.
