    Great location - in the center of the village, many free activities with Sommercard, which is included in the price, tasty breakfast.

    Just at the end of an 8 day stay at Sporthotel Kitz. As the cheapest half-board hotel on offer in the region on any website, we weren’t expecting huge things just wanting a good breakfast to start the day, somewhere to lay your head and something for supper each day. Our expectations were well and truly exceeded. After my mistake of not requesting a twin room, on arrival the hotel could not have been more accommodating showing me alternative rooms for my daughter and I to move to from what was my mistake. Rooms are more than adequate, cute private balcony, plenty of space for clothes and amazing permanently hot shower.Breakfast was first class with plenty of options to suit everybody. We were always last to breakfast but was always full choice available. Dinner was the biggest surprise. Buffet salad to help yourself before a first class three course meal with options chosen at breakfast. We had 8 meals and complete variety across our stay. The quality of food was excellent especially the meats. The lamb…. Well I would have happily had that 8 times in a row!!! We were advised of their night off and given a refund for that night, more than happy, and given advice on where to eat. We ate at the Village Kitchen nearby which was 5*Good beers, fine wines and not even a suggestion of paying for tap water!!!Staff were all excellent - very friendly, nothing too much trouble and accommodating to any requests. No complaint either when I kept forgetting to sign for my drinks on the bill, no fuss just left for me at breakfast the next day. No doubt as they are humans working hard, friendliness and respect goes both ways and we were looked after exceptionally well. I feel guilty for how little we paid for the stay we had, and will 100% be back if we visit the area again and have no hesitation to highly recommend to friends and familyThankyou for a lovely stay :)

    Check in was easy, parking was ok, my room was clean, roomy and had a balcony. Breakfast was good.Being outside of Zell am See has the advantage that it is quiet, but easy access to the main attractions. The town of Bruck is lovely and has all required shops and services.An ideal location, especially if you have a car.The hotel has bikes for use and an outside BBQ for cooking evening meals, which was novel, but really good.The owners and their staff/family were really friendly and helpful.

    We were 2 families with one 17 months baby. Everything was great! The Rooms, the breakfast and the dinner, all. All the people from the hotel speak very well english, they are so friendly also. Indeed, we couldn’t connect to the wifi, but this was not a problem for us. Hope to get there NexT year too! Greetings from Romania!

    Frustration with non-service oriented managers

    Room was fine, breakfast was ok, checking in and out was fine.Benefit is the Grossglocknerstrasse permit - which is included in the price.What wasn't was the lack of wifi - which was advertised as a service.We were asked to go up and down to reception a number of times and were told it works - and eventually.... they got it and realised it didn't.The frustration was at the male manager - he didn't have a clue (and was more interested in the soccer game that was going on at the time) and the female manager who kept making excuses.In the end, we got a 10% discount in recognition of the lack of service. However, if they would have "owned" and actually dealt with it differently - that would have helped.So - be careful how you handle this manager team if something doesn't work. And i told you that it was a problem from our internet profider. So we had do get technical support. That was not possible on sunday night, when you told the manager about it, he tried a restart. And it's unfair to gave us such a bad review, you we're really unfriendly and shouted on me - also when i told you it's not a problem with our wifi - but from the profider. And we also gave you a discount, even if we solved the problem in 1 hour - the technical support came very quick.Sometimes there a problems which can not solved in the night!
