    A super Christmas experience.

    rating13 Jan 2026

Hotel Piz Buin was fantastic! All the staff are friendly and helpful, especially the dining room staff (shoutout to Talina with her friendly smile!) We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner experience. The breakfasts were great, a great range of foods, with eggs made especially for you. The ski room downstairs, is warm, clean and with a locker for each room. Your boots are warm and dry each morning. The hotel is perfectly located for the ski lifts, après ski and strolling around the village. We had two rooms, myself and my husband in one, our teenage boys in another. Our rooms were on the first floor. Very nice rooms, comfortable with great showers. Noise from downstairs was NOT a problem, honestly.

Great hotel in the middle of the centre of Ischgl !!

This is an absolute must-book hotel when you are planning your trip to Ischgl. The hotel has the real Austrian atmosphere, the service is great, the food magnificant and the rooms are very spacious, clean and luxury. The hotel is close to the centre of Ischgl, a supermarket, ski rental shop and 2 well-known apres-ski bars: Niki's Stadl (underneath the hotel) and the Schatzi Bar.As a guest you have lots of choice during breakfast and a 4 course diner (with 3 options for the main course and a salade bar), a cosy bar and a small wellness area with a pool and 4 sauna rooms. Towels and bathrobe are provided. You have your own heated locker so warm skiboots every morning :)The hotel is next to the Pardatschgrat lift which will bring you straight to the top of the mountain. The Ischgl area is great when you love skiing with lots of slopes for every type of skier. When we had some noise problems this was immediately solved by the owner of the hotel, thanks again for that. We had a great time and will definitely be back one day.

Nice hotel just a few meters from the lift!

We spent a very enjoyable week at the Piz Buin. The staff are all amazing, very attentive and genuinely pleased to help. We asked for rooms away from The Niki Stadl, the Apres Ski Bar attached to the hotel which was accommodated without any real issues. Our rooms were located on the opposite side and were quiet and extremely comfy.Food at the hotel is very good, it's a pity they don't do the Austrian buffet more than once a week as I could have sampled all the proteins but there was way too much choice! Other than the Saturday night buffet there was always a 4 course menu, starter, soup, main and desert. You select your selection at breakfast for the same evening. They were more than happy to adjust the menu. Breakfast was the normal cold offerings, meat, cheese, yoghurts and pastries. The addition of a chef to prepare pancakes and eggs was a nice addition. The only slight issue we had was the ski locker room. It's just too small and poorly designed. There is a sensor operated door at the end of the corridor and the layout means that this door is almost always open allowing cold air to rush in. This means that your nice warm ski boots, fresh off the heater lose all the benefit as the only place to change is in the arctic corridor! We had a great week!

Love this hotel owners are amazing staff are all incredible. And then there’s nikis stadl the après-ski bar In my opinion the best in the alps ( which means the world) food is excellent rooms are great there is a river running past and they have invested heavily in high quality sound proof windows. I cannot wait to return !

    Very Good

Polite and helpful staff, good rooms (great balcony!), ski/boot locker room, perfect location - very close to the A2 lift and a short walk to the centre of Ischgl. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return. Breakfast was nice, a decent buffet on offer; no complaints from us. We didn’t dine in the restaurant in the evening, only because we chose to explore the town - however most ‘restaurants’ in Ischgl are in other hotels anyway. You can’t go wrong with this hotel for a stay in Ischgl.
