    Money grubbers comes to mind. With no effort on a warm welcoming or appreciation, or cleanliness, of us staying here.What stood out mostly is when I offered the manager to inspect our room before leaving. It was evident that the only item of importance to her was if we had settled our bill. I was met with a cold sour indifferent vibe and not even a thank you or a question if we had enjoyed our stay. Not to worry! that was settled the day prior. That was all she was interested in and it was evident she had no idea we were even checking out. I queried the extra fee of the local taxes issue. When we booked, it was clearly advised the cost included all taxes. Yes there's a comment on the website that advises there's an "additional tax fee" but in plain English, if it the quote given to us says the costs and taxes are all included, then this is plainly deceitful and messages to the establishment were met with disdain. Respectfully we paid this tax but decided to avoid the stress of an argument and resorted to requesting a refund. In the big picture and after pointing this out to the management, they are clearly of the view we will never return, which is true, ( we may return to Seefeld, which is a great place, but will stay elsewhere for sure) and they will no doubt continue to catch people out, not pay attention to cleanliness, comfort, and above all , appreciation of the fact that we chose to stay here. I suspect this company is 100% hardcore about profit, ie money, and very little else. I walked past their " flagship" property in the town and it looked very dull indeed. Probably one would have much the same experience there too.When we cleaned the apartment, prior to leaving, we noted dust and debris under the bed about a two inches thick in places. Clearly this area was never cleaned for months maybe years! It was disgusting. The light switches in the bathroom were caked with dirt, no doubt from visitors fingers, clearly same applies.There was no soap in the showers of the wellness area and the rest room was ice cold, clearly this company is all about skimming cost wherever they could. Not fun to get out of a sauna or shower and lie shivering on a lounger. a great way to catch a cold.The rooms were not a particularly good design one has to walk around doors that clutter up the passageway between bathroom bedroom and living room. The rooms are most definitely not sound proof we could here plenty going on in the passages and rooms nearby. When we asked them if they were going to do a seven day clean up, during our stay, we were told they were "too busy" for us. It was done a day later, but on a perfunctory basis. The dust issue under the bed refers.When we went to their restaurant in the village we were made to feel quite unwelcome by the establishment who grudgingly gave us the " guest" discount, that was of course omitted from the bill! In fact we had to wait at reception for over ten minutes whilst waiting to pay our bill. The food, by the way was way too salty, and rather average.When we needed a bit of advice on ski bus, where the bus stops were, and local transport information, trust me it is not easy to get this out of the stone called Torri de Seefeld, (and trust me neither is it that easy to figure out the actual bus stops either, one has to be a full local to know this and certainly, this establishment had no idea and wasn't that willing to find out for us either)The only reason why I have given an extra point to our stay was the friendly clerk at reception, who stood tall amongst the rest of the utterly sour and unfriendly other staff in the building. There are more central and better options in the central area of the village, which is a really pleasant area, if that is the requirement for staying in Seefeld. For example if you need to access the main station, you will need a taxi to get there with your luggage. Its just too far to walk, unless you only have a backpack. All in all, and coming from us who are also in the holiday accommodation business, we would not recommend this place at all. Therefore, a joint room inspection is not part of our standard procedure.We maintain high standards of hygiene. If you had informed us about the cleanliness issues during your stay, we would have been able to react immediately and arrange for a follow-up cleaning. Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to address these specific points after your departure. We have noted your comments regarding the mattresses and wellness temperatures for internal review.We followed up on your experience at our restaurant "Seefelder Stube." The team does not recall any specific incident regarding the guest discount. We actively offer the 10% discount to all our guests as a gesture of appreciation and are always happy to honor it.We apologize if you felt poorly advised regarding local transport. We aim to provide every guest with helpful recommendations. For clarification: a ski bus stop is located just a few meters from our front door. Regarding the train station: we generally recommend a taxi for guests traveling with heavy luggage. You can find several taxis directly at the train/bus station.The local tourist tax is a statutory fee mandated by the municipality and is charged in addition to the room rate throughout the Seefeld region.     This place is confused about its identity. Is it apartments or is it a hotel.Good points. Good central location and a reasonable price.Nice sauna and steam room.Hard working lady on reception seemed to have to do all jobs and I bet is underpaid.Bad points.Tired apartments, need refreshing.We were in 17 and 18 and the road can be quite noisy.They hold off 500 euros per apartment as a deposit which is steep and they say that if you don’t fully clean the bathroom they can charge up to 500 euros which is ridiculous.You have to empty your own bins into the outside waste bins and you don’t have to do this in any other hotel.Reception closes at midday which is crazy because if you have a problem in the afternoon there is nobody there to help. There is an emergency number but others guests said they called it and no answer.Our sink has a bad leak when we arrived which although they fixed quickly, they should have known about when doing the cleaning the morning of our arrival.It has potential but the owners need to look at some policies and change them and give it a refurb.     Our reviews of Tori di Seefeld Apartments, in Seefeld, Austria Review of Aptm 13, 14 and 20Our stay at Tori di Seefeld Apartments in Seefeld, Austria in September and October 2024 has been a very disappointing experience as the apartments have been handed over in an awful, rundown, broken, poorly maintained and dirty condition. All the apartments we stayed in (ie. No 13, No 14 and No 20) were in need of renovation in many areas and had insufficient amenities. Gloomy cementary lights in all rooms. Intercom not working. Incomplete kitchen utensils. Balconies with rotten wooden floors. Disintegrating window seals, broken window blinds, leaking shower head, leaking water kettle, slow internet, dirty appliances, even bed infested with bedbugs.The rooms looked much more comfortable in the pictures than they actually were.and the information at their website under 'Our Apartments: You can expect amenities to meet high demands and stylish furnishings' is dishonest and completely misleading. It is hard to fathom how anyone can give a high score, it's deceptive and if there had been a more truthful assessment we really wouldn't have chosen this property. It has been the most pathetic apartment we have ever seen during our travel through Austria.Be aware, as reading through other unfavorable guest reviews, the reply from management to rectify the many voiced problems, have all been empty promises.The bottom line: The Tori di Seefeld apartments we stayed in have been sub-standard to say the least and are therefore not recommendable. I am from Thailand and even in less developed countries like Thailand you are get more value for money.Below is a list of problems encountered at these apartments during our stay:Review of Apartment No 20:Occupant: Mr M. from Thailand, 19.9.-22.9.2024The given apartment (No 20 on the 2nd floor) has not been the same as originally requested, booked and shown at Tori di Seefeld's website as well as on Booking .com.All mentioned points below have already been communicated to your receptionist Ms Bianca the next morning after check in and a change of room has been requested.Insufficient Amenities:No serviettesNo kitchen paper towelsNo hand soap No dishwashing brushNo kitchen scissorNot enough sofa pillows.Lightening:Very poor lightning throughout the apartment, especially in the kitchen area, at the dining table and in the bedroom which made reading impossible.Living Room:Insufficient lighting above dining table.Room telephone not working.Dirty smutched wall.Bedroom:Missing second bedside table light and broken light switch.Broken window blinds.Difficult to open the bedroom window at the ceiling, as window handle was missing.Unable to keep bedroom window open. Water is pushed out of the hose not the shower head. Bathroom ceiling light not working.Bathroom window seal disintegrated and hanging loose.Review of Apartment No 14:Occupant: Mr M. from Thailand, 22.9.-4.10.2024Fridge door not closing properly.Electric hot water kettle leaking from underneath into the electric!!!Apartment handed over in a dusty condition.Window shutters banging against the walls at night when windy, as they cannot be secured with hooks.The arm rest of the couch fell almost apart.Bed infested with bedbugs. Several itchy bites during the night prevented a good night sleep. Asked housekeeping to change the bed linen. When reporting the bug issue to Ms Bianca at the reception, and even showed her one of the bedbugs, all her response was a pathetic 'OK'. Unbelievable!

    Needs renovation badly

    It’s the third time we’re in this apart hotel. Something is going wrong here since our last visit. The hotel is falling to pieces. It really needs renovation and repairs. So sorry about that. The bathroom sink is leaking and it’s fixed with the help of the plaster. The terrace wood is getting worn out. Be careful while stepping on the terrace floor. It is not our standard that you will find defect furnishings in our house and we apologize for that. We do not agree that the house is falling apart.     We arrived and checked in quickly, staff was friendly. Good parking. Clean and spacious rooms with all the amenities including great views and a balcony. Very close to the village with shopping and restaurants.
