We had a lovely stay here with family. We had a double room, a balcony roon and a single room. The beds were very comfortable. The style is traditional/ old fashioned. There is a small bar and swimming pool. Lunch and dinner are taken at the sister hotel which has a great pool and spa. The breakfast in Stefanie is very good with a selection of hot and cold dishes. Dinner was delicious and there is a comfortable bar in the sister hotel with entertainment some evenings. The staff in both hotels are friendly and helpful. There is free wifi throughout both hotels. The yellow ski bus stops nearby.

    Small, Rustic and Friendly Hotel

Excellent choice for a week enjoying the snow in and around Seefeld. The location is good. Cross country skiers - the golf course nearby becomes a loipe in winter. Perfect for a warm up after 12 months or more out of the sport! Rooms simply furnished but warm, clean and adequate for those not intending to spend much time in them! Shower room decent size and everything worked.Buffet breakfast plentiful and for those on half board, select dinner option from menu at breakfast and enjoy five to seven course dinners at sister hotel across the road. We also had a buffet lunch option between 1p.m. and 4p.m. in the sister hotel, but only took advantage on our departure day.The Stefanie has a small Tyrolean style bar open during the evening - or you can take advantage of the larger lounge across the road. The swimming pool is small, quiet during our stay, and housed in the basement along with a relaxation area, sauna and changing facilities. Again, the pool and facilities across the road are all singing all dancing by comparison. We opted for peace and quiet! The staff at the Stefanie were excellent and appeared to really enjoy and take pride in their work - from reception (part-time waitress), house 'master', cleaners - we didn't see a grumpy face among them.Seefeld itself is a dream. There's something for everyone be it ski-ing, ice skating, swimming, snow shoeing, hiking, sledging, sleigh rides - or simply soaking up the atmosphere in one of the many cafes. The tourism office, centrally located, offers free taster sessions of many of the activities available and is well worth visiting at the start of your stay - prior to booking anything with your travel company. Enjoy - we did!

Very good Location, friendly welcoming staff and good breakfasts. Room was warm and comfortable. Guests can also use the sister hotels facilities for spa treatments amongst other things, literally just across the road. Only limited WiFi in the downstairs public areas.

Shaby chic - just the way we like it

Yes this hotel is a little 'tired' in places, door handles loose, wardrobe doors sticking but it is charming. Good location, up the hill from the centre of town on the way to the main ski slope. Great little pool area often deserted. The service is great, asked for soya milk on day one and from then onwards they checked every dish in every meal for lactose - no sweet buffet for us!Meals taken accross the road in t'posh hotel - far too big (meals and hotel). Great selection of activities to choose from if you want to do something other than ski.Child free!!!!!!

Clean and comfortable, with food and facilities of the superb spa hotel over the road

    rating09 Sept 2017

The Stefanie itself is ok, but the great thing is that lunch and dinner are in the hotel over the road which does superb and very plentiful food, with silver plated cutlery, and loads of courses. Huge salad buffet each night and a good cheese board, but usually we had no room for it! Beer is cheap. You can use the pools and spa facilities too. If you don't want the excellent buffet lunch, they will do you a good packed lunch instead. We felt very spoilt. Oh, and excellent cake is part of lunch, and available until 16.00 if you fancy some after a walk, to keep you going to dinner (18.00-20.00).Highly recommended. Breakfast is in the Stefanie, and was good.
