Average. Don’t come during warm weather.

    rating06 May 2026

Check in was quick. However, the gent forgot to offer my wife and I the complementary welcome pass, which allows free public transport and discounts. The room was clean and functional. However, it was a warm day on arrival so the room was like a sauna. The air-conditioning controls were confusing and didn’t seem to do much. Zero cold air came from the vent. Uncomfortable to sleep in. Opening the window helped but the room faced a busy road so it was a 6am wake up call. Overall. Average. Not city centre bucks or enough.

Don't stay here. Terrible customer service.

    rating22 Mar 2026

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in October 2025. I must say that the hotel itself is beautiful, the room was specious and meticulously clean. Unfortunately, the level of service of the front desk and bar/kitchen staff was not in par with it, Bottom line - I have not eaten proper dinner in any of the two nights I stayed in the hotel die to the competency of the staff. The first night, I have asked the front desk to recommend where to eat dinner. They suggested downtown Innsbruck, promising that there are many choices there. After 10 minutes and 15 euros taxi ride, I was dropped off by the Goldenes Dachl I was surprised to see that nothing is open. walking for 30 minutes looking for an open restaurant was frustrating and tiering after a long day of traveling. Eventually I saw a Subway restaurant and grabbed a sandwich and took another taxi back to the hotel. It was the most expensive Subway I have ever eaten - 42 Euros, out of them 30 Euros for useless taxi rides back and forth from your hotel. When I came back, the lady at the from desk had no apology to offer, nor explanation for sending me downtown in vain. The 2nd night I have decided not to risk eating sandwich again and went to the hotel's restaurant/bar area. Unfortunately, choosing Subway would have been a better choice. The menu was missing many dishes, others were served with only partial ingredients such was the pasta I was served without side dish or parmesan cheese, and with a lot of industrial sauce. When I asked to talk to the kitchen manager, I was approached by the cook who instead of being explanatory and apologetic, provided me with excuses and was close to blaming me for not having the prepare food, saying he doesn't care and it is my problem. Needless to say, that I went to bed that night without eating any dinner. As a Hilton's Honors Member, I was shocked and amazed to receive such outrageous reply from the cook/kitchen manager. It was appalling, offensive and disgraceful. As one can appreciate, coupled with the first night's experience (thanks to the hotel's front desk mismanagement), I was left in awe as for the level of service vis-à-vis the level of service I came to know from the Hilton brand.Approaching the management of the hotel the next morning as well as communicating with them via e-mail left me with even more disappointment and frustration given the unsatisfactory answers and service I have received.I know I won’t be coming back there. I recommend you do the same.

A good base for a short city break in Innsbruck

    rating19 Mar 2026

Can't quite understand all the negative reviews. This was my 21st visit to Austria, I usually visit places like Soll, Kitzbhuel, St Johann etc in the summer season with package tours but I fancied something out of season. A 3 night city break in here in Innsbruck was ideal. I found this hotel to be great. It’s easy 20ish minute walk from the central station. It’s also great for busses to Igls with a stop just around the corner. My check in experience was excellent; prompt, polite, friendly and efficient. I had asked for a quiet room, the hotel didn’t disappoint. 10th floor with excellent views towards the Patscherkofel and the ski jump. The room was good, a decent size and cleaned every day with fresh towels etc. It’s unheard of to get kettles and fridges in Austria in the resorts I usually go to, so they were an added welcome bonus.Couldn’t really fault anything. Perfect base for a short city break and close enough to transport infrastructure for days out. I did Igls and Seefeld. Only wish I’d had longer. My only small complaints would be the shower, sometimes the water was tepid at best even when turned to fully hot. And the tea/coffee/milk etc was not replenished at all during my stay.On my final morning I walked the 3.5 mile very easy walk from the hotel to the airport. No hassle, quite enjoyable!I would definitely return here, and hope to do so again soon.

One night, stop on our road trip!!

    rating28 Sept 2025

We stayed the one night as a family in this hotel. We were returning back home and chose innsbruck as a destination or choice or, as one would say, a pit stop. The hotel is not exactly in the centre of town. However we can say that it is about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the centre which was something that we needed after a long drive. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and both receptionists at the desk were really helpful and informative. There are a lot of dinner and lunch options in town, and the scenery is amazing, as long as the weather is on your side. We did dine in the hotel, and the person at the restaurant was helpful. The menu is decent it all depends on what one looks for. Breakfast in the morning is always as expected 👌🏼, and that is why we normally stay at Hilton. All in all, it was a lovely stay, although it was just for the night.Thank you, and we shall visit again 😊 Tivoli Hotel, General Manager at Hilton Garden Inn Innsbruck Tivoli, responded to this review Thank you very much for your kind review.
