    Wonderful hotel and city

    We stayed one night in Innsbruck on our European trip at the Hotel Central and will definitely stay there again if/when we return.Hotel Central is aptly named, a lovely facility, with a nice restaurant and terrace for outdoor dining. We were upgraded to a room on the top floor with the spa and fitness room. The fitness area was limited to a few aerobic machines, but there were dry and steam saunas, a shower, and a terrace for cooling off or having a drink while enjoying the magnificent views Innsbruck has to after. Antonio checked us in and gave excellent recommendations for sightseeing, lunch, and dinner restaurants. We had a wonderful time on our short visit to Innsbruck and highly recommend both the city and Hotel Central.

    Lovely stay shame about the noise outside!

    Generally it was a lovely stay. The hotel room as great as was the breakfast. Staff all lovely.My only little observation was… and maybe we were unlucky, there was a man who decided to shout and screem at the top of his voice for several hours (no really) in the square outside our room….the windows were amazing at blocking out this noise, but we cooper close it as the heating was stuck on! It was very warm in the room!

    Great hotel. This was our second visit and we were not disappointed. We booked a triple room but were upgraded to a junior suite. Well laid out design with a fresh modern decor. Buffet breakfast was good too. Location is perfect for the city but we were using it for a base to ski from. Easy access to local resorts via the local bus service and the Ski bus stops right out side for door to door access to the Stubai Glacier. Good value for central location. We will be back

    Good location close to the historic area. Small but good sauna and gym. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had hotel buffet (€19) but set breakfasts in cafe is different to on line price.

    A well located hotel with vintage charm

    This review is really more of a 4.5 than a 4 because it was a very nice stay at a 4 star hotel but there were just a few small issues. The hotel itself is in a perfect walkable location and has a lot of historical charm. Our room was nicely appointed and had a lovely Alpine view but the temperature of the room itself ran more than a little bit hot and it was unfortunately located near the sauna which led to constant tromping at all hours.The service was helpful and efficient, the hotel had lovely decorations for the holiday, and the attached Cafe was a very nice amenity although the service could be a bit hit or miss which is understandable given how busy that it always is.Overall a good stay and definitely would recommend it for walking around the old town and the proximity to the train station.
